Monguno/Buratai face-off

In February last year, the NSA and the immediate past Army Chief, Tukur Buratai, had a major face off when the former took sides with the late Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, to humiliate the NSA.

Mr Buratai, at the time, ordered the withdrawal of top army officers attached to the Office of the NSA without replacements.

A total of 23 army officers serving at the ONSA were posted out without being replaced in two batches on February 4 and 10. Mr Monguno was away from the country at the time of the postings.

The NSA rejected the entire exercise as a charade upon his return and ordered the personnel to disregard Mr Buratai’s directive and remain in place.

Mr Buratai himself ignored the NSA and refused to rescind his decision.

Nigerian Army procures 55 combat and logistics vehicles

The Nigerian Army has procured and commissioned 55 utility vehicles vehicles to increase the mobility and combat efficiency of troops ongoing the CT/COIN against Boko Haram terrorists and Islamic State in West Africa Province (ISWAP) in the North East.

The foolish man is not man enough to settle scores with Buratai face to face like a man, but he defaulted to dumb and silly lies that's actually an insult to the president himself since the president himself inducted many of the military hardware on the ground today.

You've never been to the battlefield except for the NL battlefield where you fight people with your limited knowledge and anti-government sentiments.

I ask again, if no money was spent and if nothing is actually on the ground, have they been to Sambisa to look?

The bombs, munitions, the combat helicopters and gunners we kill BH with every day were all acquired free of charge?

Are our brave men and women on the battlefield not getting paid salaries?

Are our brave military men and women not being taken care of with training, housing and medical facilities

Are our fighters not in the USA as we speak training to operate the 12 Tucano we are expecting?

What about the dozens of new boats and patrol vessels we just acquired? They came to Nigeria free of charge.

In my analysis of what they hurriedly put together to seems like national security emergency meeting, i noticed that the northern emirs went to report to Buhari that their people are being attacked and their house set ablaze with their herds and it’s making life difficult for them. They seek Buharis approval to unleash the army on Southerners to protect their people.

We have to be prepared for military invasion in the South because they are coming to protect the interests of criminal marauders who are killing our people.

We can not achieve security with deceit and lies.
