Now BMC are supporting Wase. When reasonable people in government finally correct the problem Wase created, the same BMC talking unreasonably here will come to claim glory.

These violent terrorist herders issue need to be given a very serious attention.
A visit to Benue IDP Camps will leave you in tears;how thousands of people have fled their ancestral homes for the fear of their lives and and now take shelter in the worst of living conditions and these are the same farmers whose farm produce the nation depends on for survival!
I don't know where these evil men get their weapons from but with God I know for sure that their agenda will never see the light of the day!

one day we'll have leaders that will expose and bring all these criminals to justice!

So, there is still IDPs in Benue. What happened to all the retired soldiers when herdsmen visited them?

I still don't understand what kind of threat this is.

Are they sending the dollars to Nigerian account or to their families?

Just like a man threatening to stop taking care of his family for whatever reason.

They can withhold their remmittance, maybe so buhari will die of hunger.

Whatever benefit Nigeria stand to gain from the remmittance can go to blazes.

Nonsense and ingredients.

You and thebosstrevor1 have just confirmed how unintelligent you two are. This is not nyamiri and IPOB matter.
You two are examples of Nigerians who have sworn to live in denials.

If Nigerian abroad truelly send 29 billion dollars, we wont be in any dollars crises even if the price of oil falls.

In 2019, Nigeria oil revenue was $64.9 billion, so this people abroad are telling us that they send almost half of the country's oil revenue. What a joke.

Infact oil and agriculture are the bulk of Nigeria's revenue, not diaspora remittance.

The problem with you is that you reside in Dutse with poor internet and brags about knowing what happens everywhere.

The other day you were shown pictures of Onitsha and you said the picture wasn't a city in Nigeria.

It is better to read comments and learn from people who are more enlightened than you, than brag in gross ignorance.

The World Bank estimates that Nigeria’s annual remittances in 2020 were US$21 billion in 2020, down from $23.8 billion in 2019.

Thanks for sharing... A lot of people don't know what diaspora remittance means... I think a post on that will do due diligence. Nigerian everywhere in the world should have a voice on things that pertains to our common existence. We all contribute to its growth.

Some of us are a bunch of ingrates. The same people that benefit more from Bureau du Change, made up of Northern arbitrarily created billionaires are loud.

They loot Central Bank, take naira to street corners and hotels to collect dollars sent from Diaspora. They turn around and launder it abroad.

The same money spent on goods and services will disappear even if some Diasporans heed the call.

Some people are cursed in this Country, cutting their noses to spite their faces.

Why not Google remmitances recipient countries and see how much Nigeria earns from its diaspora population instead of exposing your ignorance?

Nigeria is among the world's largest remmitances receiving countries and it fetches us far more money/forex than agriculture or any other commodity aside crude oil.
No mind d olodo. Its even painful that he came from west and not frm north; the qouta system pipul. He does not even know that diaspora remittance earns the whole of africa more money than any other thing.

So Google will give me the answer.

Do you know what is even counted as remittance.

Foreign direct investment is infact counted as remittance.

The only people who can give real data about individual remittance are the apps and the banks.

90% of Nigeria foreign exchange is from oil and agriculture not diaspora remittance.

Also Nigeria wont be in a dollar crisis if Nigerians abroad do send 24 billion dollars annually

You are saying you don't know the difference between diaspora remittance and foreign direct investment (FDI). The annual remittance from diaspora is several fold higher than FDI because foreign investors see Nigeria as a high risk country and the FDI is even quite low. Probably just couple of billions of dollars unlike diaspora funds that run up to over $20 billion. Why did CBN recently change policy that allow receiving dollars instead of Naira when fund is sent from abroad by Nigerians. If Nigeria only rely on dollars from crude oil sales, the economy would have collapse and even Dangote project will be affected since he needs to purchase equipments which he get from CBN. Our criminal senators won't see enough dollars to fund their foreign trips. Its diaspora remittance that allowed countries like China and India advanced significantly in last two decades because those remittance were directed at infrastructural development unlike Nigerians remittance that go mostly to private projects and family members. A lot can be found online about diaspora remittance. I even read a world Bank document on it.

The funds keeps circulating and benefitting everyone. If d remittance is used to buy goverment bonds or normally shares+ stock; it still puts money into d government coven and also d banks. if you are ill-informed , you shut your mouth up and try to read widely..Go and read or try and watch prof. soludo's video on YouTube in October 2019. Nigeria's diaspora remittance is as much as equivalent to oil revenue generated in a year.

If you don't know about your nation's revenue distribution knidly get yourself educated with published data and avoid writing without facts.
Oh and mind you, the diaspora remittances calculated do not include the black market and P2P exchanges...

This is laughable! Only maybe 5-6% of that money will account for living expenses! The others are for major projects- schools, hotels, etc.

When government say FDI’s, do you think it is only foreign companies that are major players? It is wasteful for someone to have a brain and not use it!

94-95% percentage of redeems by Nigerians in the diaspora is slated for investment? Lol. Yes, I agree with your final statement.

so you actually think that 100% of your oil proceeds goes to Nigerian government, am sure you do not know that the dollars the nigerian government is busy wasting on corrupt fulanis in power is mostly from sales from future oil production e.g.from oil production slated for next year........................bro fulani has finished your oil, that is why they want your lands and labour now, your mothers and fathers slave in the farms and fulani casually walk in the cows and feed on your harvest..............no worry igbos and yorubas go soon get sense !!!

Nigeria is already in a dollar crisis, despite the diaspora dollar remittance.

Credit Suisse Group AG Chief Executive Tidjane Thiam says it is “madness” for African nations to rely on loans in foreign currencies to fund vital infrastructure including roads, power and clean water.
https://www.wsj.com/articles/african-reliance-on-foreign-debt-is-madness-says-credit-suisses-thiam-1444125696

Poor governance and large dollar loans by the present government has place Nigeria in a precarious position of needing dollars to pay for oil subsidies and the growing debt liability.

Under Iweala stewardship, majority of the debt were in Naira. Due to the ongoing Naira devaluation in Buhari government the Naira debt is too expensive, hence this government has no choice but to take dollar debt , but Nigeria barely earned $20 billion last year.
