I swear, if I was a Resident of this community, I'll relocate by this month's end, cos IKEDC will blacklist them till they do the following:
1. Produce the attackers
2. Foot the medical bills + heavy compensation for the victim.
3. Sign an MOU never to attack or prevent Staff of IKEDC from carrying their duty.

In a video which surfaced online, a man with deep cuts in his head was being stitched up by medical personnel.

According to Twitter user, @Nigeriangod_, who posted the video, residents of the community attacked the IKEDC for disconnecting electricity shortly after coming out of three weeks power outage in the area.

This is what prepaid meter could have solved. Instead they decide to rob their customers through estimated bills.

My little advice to any1 working for govt, or any private sector organization, never you carry ur work matter for once you meet stubborn customer give way to their demands and report back to your organization.

If you engage them and they kill you there las las ur family will get 2-3 million naira on an envelope and your matter don end be that

So you expect them to make payment for the electricity they never consumed. They are just coming of three weeks outage for heaven's sake.

Use your discretion while executing your job functions. You ain't no robot.

fireback:
a very big GBOSAA!!! for the person that broke that empty head... why would NEPA be climbing pole like MONKEYS, when they can just simply issue a pre-paid meter to residents to avoid all this scenario.

Thank you very much!

They rip off the masses with their estimated bills and engage in all sorts of illegalities.

The guy should count himself lucky he wasn't set ablaze. grin

In this present dilemma your political party full of passionate criminals has registered Nigeria into

Good for him nah I'm planning a bigger one here. They started billing me 24k from 5k since October last year and this January, I made a formal complaint/Request that I want out of their supply with immediate effect after I've been billed 24k for 3months already. I'm a civil servant on 30k minimum wage and some idiots planned to collect 24k for only electricity bill. U won't believe they're still sending bills? I dey wait on dem to come my area. Na die
