Tivs Petition Against The Federal Government by VGSocial: 7:14pm On Mar 17, 2021
A petition has been filed by the the Mutual Union of the Tiv indigenes resident in the United States of America against the Federal Government over the alleged attacks and lands grabs by herdsmen forcing their kinsmen resident in Nigeria to seek refuge away from their homes.
What is your take on this?

Although, the petition was presented by Hon. Mark Gbillah. However, it was rejected by Hon. Ahmed Wase on the grounds that Nigerians in Diaspora are not eligible to file petitions against the Federal Government on issues regarding crimes committed or linked to herdsmen though this claim has been refuted by him.

Complaining before UN or even ECOWAS will be more meaningful than petitioning the cause of your woe who will still be the one to preside over her own case.

FG has gone to the dustbin.
