While you dumb youths were busy discussing Grammy and Tonto Dike, the real deal (politics) was going on in Abuja. Una all go get sense las las. Government is promoting entertainment to distract the teeming youths away from politics, making it look unattractive to them meanwhile politics is where the main koko is.

FGN Special Public Work Programme: Has Anyone Been Paid?

It's been two months and few days since the Federal Government of Nigeria early this year launched the Special Public Work (SPW) programme which seeks to create temporarily employment for 774,000 Nigerian youth. Since then nothing has been heard concerning the programme.
The question is has any enrollee been paid?

Yes!
I was among the selected few in my LG of residence. We were given forms to fill at designated banks in my state after being shortlisted. Weeks later, I picked up my ATM card from the bank.
Days ago, inspectors from the NDE and AGF came. Took photos of some "eye service" workers and left.

60k will drop by the end of the month.

. Why are you badmouthing what you want to benefit from? Why don’t you leave those who have nothing to benefit from the scheme?
I’m well aware that in my LG almost all the 1000 slots had been filled!
Registrations are almost complete.
No nepotism! Only those who did not want to benefit refused to join when they were calling for names. Though 1000 is still not the whole population of an LG but I’m sure it will go a long way. For those who want to know more about the scheme why not contact the NDE in your locality?
