The youth wing of Tiv socio-political organization, Mzough U Tiv has described the assassination attempt on Benue State Governor, Dr. Samuel Ortom as declaration of war on Tiv.
The group stated this while reacting to the attack on the Governor by alleged Fulani herdsmen through a post on Twitter.

if you people don't organise benue boys to go against this people, ORTOM might not be lucky next time, u are calling buhari, is a pity. Where's the civil war warlords, the tivs that knows how to fight, u people should stand and defend ur state, stop appealing to ur enemy, who told u buhari cares.

ESN is only for the Igbo part of benue

they joined the northerners to kill the igbos before the biafra war, what their son Joseph akahan did to igbo soldiers in Ibadan Barracks is not forgotten

I'm sure you guys always think you are the only ones who remember history.

When the Sardauna was butchered by his mentee, an Igbo man and other Igbos and the Igbo traders in the North foolishly came to the streets jubilating, I guess that must have looked real good to you guys.

The massacre in the North was equally followed by a massacre in the east where innocent Northerners who had settled in the east and south were killed along with their wives and children. Their corpses were seen floating along the Niger river.

Your victim card has been overplayed bro.

Only someone who doesn't know the facts can fall for that, "oh we are marginalized", "oh we are discriminated against", "oh everyone hate us" symphony of the Igbos.

Fact. When the late Gadaffi said Nigeria should be broken into six different countries, most Nigerians tended to abuse him instead of learning one or two lessons from his advice.
It is very possible that the country may end up being divided into six or more countries. Even those who worked assiduously to keep it as one united country have lost hope already. Pathetic.

Pure fantasy...
The Oga's at the top keep telling you that idea is dead on arrival. You people refuse to listen as if they're joking.
Very weird....it's like you people prefer to live in alternate universe

I would agree except that all of you without exception regurgitate the same thing. It's not surprising though as it's also the same thing Nnamdi Kanu says in his broadcasts.

So, when I say "you guys", I think I can be pardoned for putting all of you in the same box.

The pattern of thought and speech is always the same. I could make a list for you if you like.

If what you just typed was actually true, Biafra would be a reality not a dream.

Hope that don't go over ya head

Benue should key into biafra agitation and liberate themselves
When this isis invade south and we resist them
They will end up turning middle belt to Syria

QUIZ:

If Governor Ortom ran over 1.5 kilometers to escape assasination by Fulani herdsmen, how many kilometers will Buhari run in a similar situation?

The fact that y'all have substantial population in the West and are afraid of losing your business ventures and investment in the West doesn't mean that most of you don't blame Westerners for your woes and would love to see Biafra come to pass except that you want to eat your cake and have it. Have your Biafra but continue to stay in the West.

false history,
nzeogwu led a group of soldiers from the army college in Kaduna to the sarduana's house all those soldiers with him that day were northern soldiers from core north and middle belt, if it was an igbo Agenda why did the northerners follow nzeogwu to kill sarduana?

learn your history well the whole Nigeria Jubilated especially the northerners, Lt col Kastina appeared on multiple live radio broadcast with nzeogwu addressing the nation about the coup and gave nzeogwu his support it was after some media propagandist bigots from South West started tagging it and igbo agenda coup that turned it negative against the igbo, forgetting that northerners middle belt and South West was part of that coup and it was even a failed coup stopped by an igbo ironsi

there was no massacre in the East the northerners were sent home under police escort ojukwu made sure of that, even when the igbos stopped the train that was taken northerners home they couldn't do them any harm cause they were protected under police escort, bodies floating on niger river were all igbos killed and dumped in the river all the way from river Benue down to niger river

My apologies...
I now remember I have interacted with you before.
Reasoning like the bigot that you are. I will leave you to keep regurgitating the same narratives that suits your fancy. It literally means squat n holds no weight.

Congrats on peppering those that wish to engage. I won't make the same mistake again

Yup, usual tactic. Run away when faced with facts.

And yes...I'm a bigot. My thoughts are with the Yoruba people, my kith and kin. We don't belong in the same country with rest of you.

No apologies for that.

you have nothing to counter the true historic account I just gave about the coup and the aftermath

the reason why the biafran civil war history was never taught in school, is to keep people like you in the dark, so you could wake up one morning and write a false history

go and read books about biafra, stop depending on false Wikipedia articles

hope the tiv people and Orthom still knows that Gana boys are still out to take revenge on the killing of their boss,I'll advice proper investigation should be carried out as to those responsible for the attempted assassination and not just assumed that it's the fulani herdsmen, after all the fulani attire are easily available in the market

I'm not expecting you to believe me, cause it's obvious you know nothing about this topic of coup/biafran civil war you are discussing blindly

there are many books but I will recommend one for you written by Frederick Forsyth one of the British journalist who covered everything about the coup and biafra, in his book The Biafran story

Lol.

Frederick Forsythe paid by Ojukwu as his international propagandist, while Chinua Achebe was the local chief propagandist in charge of spewing lies through Radio Biafra.

You assume I haven't read books on the coup and the civil war. You are mistaken.

nothing like ojukwu paying Forsyth Rather Forsyth resigned from his well paying job as a British journalist to report an unbiased account of what was really happening in biafra , cause BBC was reporting in favour of Nigeria, denying food blockade, denying asaba massacre, framing igbos of forcing minorities into biafra etc , how much was ojukwu paying Forsyth when he lacked money to buy weapons and food?

how about adewale's book title why we struck? he was one of the coup plotters is he igbo? did he say they planned an igbo agenda coup in his book?
