Now I am writing this not to bash anyone or to talk about anyone. I want to share the truth so one can stand guarded against false prophets, false doctrines and false gospel as Christ Believers. Nowadays there are many prophets who claim they had a revelation from God and claim that this will happen tomorrow or next year and so forth. First all of all what is a definition of a prophet. According to the Webster dictionary: a prophet is 1: one who utters divinely inspired revelations: such as
aoften capitalized : the writer of one of the prophetic books of the Bible
bcapitalized : one regarded by a group of followers as the final authoritative revealer of God's will

2: one gifted with more than ordinary spiritual and moral insight
especially : an inspired poet
3: one who foretells future events : PREDICTOR
4: an effective or leading spokesman for a cause, doctrine, or group
5Christian Science
a: a spiritual seer
b: disappearance of material sense before the conscious facts of spiritual Truth


This is the accepted standard definition of a prophet. Now there are main characteristic of a prophecies that separate the true prophets and the false prophets.
1. A true prophet revelation is from God and God only. Since God does not guess, His prophesies are 100% accurate . God is not a guesser and know the details of futuristic event. Even a prophet said this will happen tomorrow because God has revealed an event tomorrow and it does not happen. Avoid such people.
2. If the prophecy does not promote Jesus Christ in any way or in any form or any shape. In fact if Christ is not center of such prophecies , run away and please avoid such prophets.
3. God does not contradict his words in the Bible. When God say this is a sin, then it is a sin. Anyone that prophecies and say you do anything that is against God's words in the bible, please avoid such people.
4 The bible is now easily accessible to everyone to God be the glory. To guide against such false doctrines, please study God's words on your own. You need to spend your time reading the Bible, so your foundation stay rooted.
