Chemical companies dedicate a substantial portion of their annual budgets to constructing new assets and maintaining or modernizing existing assets to meet market needs, and conforming to strict regulatory and operational standards so they can compete effectively. Boardroom investment decisions are driven by strategic plans that seek to leverage advantage in three primary areas: energy and feedstock costs, proximity to demand growth, and technology.

One of the best ways to make big money in a struggling economy like ours is in production.

Take it or keep it, this is not a motivational quote. You can read up the economic revolution of other countries like Germany, China or the great countries we all want to associate with, and you will understand this.

You can start with 1m if you don't have a reactor, but can start with 500k if you already have one.

In less than 6 months, you would have made 6m if you invest aggressively in marketing your product.

One of such product is this all purpose contact adhesive. What you call gum.

Shoe makers use it, upholstery makers, car repairs and lots of people. Yet, the major players of these product like abro, Visa, buffalo, energy, are all foreign companies.

Good thing is, the ingredients are in Nigeria, and you can learn how to start with very little money.

While the near-term outlook remains subdued for chemicals demand and margins, low oil prices are expected to positively impact the industry over time - sowing the seeds for better economic conditions, lower petrochemical prices, and improved global petrochemical demand. Since crude oil acts as the primary driver for feedstocks and serves as the marginal production cost and price-setter for many chemicals, plastics, and fibers, a decline in crude oil prices typically leads to lower product prices.

How Is Engine Oil Made in Nigeria?

Introduction
Because of the metallic nature of engine parts, automobiles and other machines rely heavily on engine oil to keep their parts moving smoothly. Lubricant oil prevents moving parts from grinding against each other, resulting in wear and damage.

Individuals can now produce their own brand of lubrication oil as a result of research and research results that are available to the public; there are many brands in the market so that automobile and engine users can have different varieties to choose from depending on which brands work better for their engine parts.

Mineral and synthetic oils are the two basic types of lube oil. Mineral oils are made from naturally occurring petroleum, also known as crude oil.

Polyalphaolefins, which are hydrocarbon-based polyglycols or ester oils, are used to make synthetic oils. Although there are many different types of lube oils, mineral oils are the most commonly used because the supply of crude oil has made them cheap; additionally, a large body of data on their properties and use already exists. Another benefit of mineral-based lube oils is that they can be manufactured in a variety of viscosities.

Start a Skill Acquisition School

Soap making, detergent making, liquid soap, tie and dye, pesticide, herbicides, insecticides, perfumes, air fresheners, after shave and loads of other chemical related products are products that don’t take much time to learn how to make.

So, if you know how to make these products and you have the skills to impart knowledge, then one of the business that you can successfully start is to open a skill acquisition center; a place where people will have the options of learning how to make various chemical related products that are highly sellable.

You don’t necessarily need to know how to make all these products before opening a skill acquisition school; you can also hire the services of other trainers who are skilled in some of the areas that you are not.

Surfactants are chemicals that molecularly surround contaminants and break their hold or bond on glass surfaces. Surfactant action from chemicals like ammonia loosen
contaminant grip, causing them to molecularly release or dislodge.
Solvents are chemicals that molecularly attack and destroy contaminants. Solvents create
chemical reactions that dissolve dirt, fat, grease, or mineral compounds and make them disappear from dirty surfaces.

Toothpaste Production Process

Do you know how to produce toothpaste. Do you know the standard production process and it's quality parameters?

Do you know the vacuum emulsifying machine is currently the most common machine used to manufacture toothpaste? Under negative pressure, it produces paste. However, the process can be described in two ways. The most common method is single-step manufacturing, which involves finishing in a single step, such as fixature, paste, homogenizing, and vacuuming.

It has some benefits, such as simplifying the process, improving sanitary processes, and being the only way for small and medium-sized businesses to reform their technological processes.

The following are the most common manufacturing processes for toothpaste:

The ingredients are manually and mechanically weighed after being transported into the factory. This ensures that the proportions of the ingredients are correct. The ingredients are then combined. Typically, the glycerin-water mixture is completed first.
In the mixing vat, all of the ingredients are combined. The temperature and humidity of the vat are closely monitored. This is required to ensure that the mixture comes together properly. In the toothpaste industry, a common vat is used to mix a batch that is the equivalent of 10,000 four-ounce (118 ml) tubes.

To ensure cleanliness, the tube itself is passed through a blower and a vacuum before being filled with toothpaste. This step blows out dust and particles. The tube has been capped, and the opposite end has been opened to allow the filling machine to load the paste.
The filling machine fills the tubes after the ingredients have been mixed together. An optical device rotates the tube to ensure that it is properly aligned. A descending pump then fills the tube. After filling, the end is sealed (or crimped) shut. A code is also stamped on the tube, indicating where and when it was manufactured.
After the tubes have been filled, they are placed in open paperboard boxes. Some businesses do this by hand.
The boxes are packaged and shipped to warehouses and retail locations.
As each batch of ingredients is brought into the factory, it is tested for quality. The testing lab also examines final product samples.

Conclusion
Toothpastes are an absolute necessity in our daily lives. Its numerous advantages include antimicrobial, tartar control, and teeth whitening. The effectiveness and quality of toothpastes can be seen in their various formulations, each of which provides unique characteristics. Furthermore, the overall performance of the toothpaste in terms of tooth protection and beautification is determined by the efficiency with which the mixers process and manufacture the toothpaste.

Chemical-based products are in high demand in Nigeria. In Nigeria, the opportunities in chemical production and business are immeasurable and so vast that only about 6% of them have been realized. This is in contrast to developed countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Asian countries, which have a more developed chemical market.
