you want to subject people going for a competitive football game to boat ride through the sea that some of them may take several days to recover should they suffer motion sickness.

I don't like this idea, considering the security situation in the country,even our euro based players, their clubs might find this too risky.

But if picnic abi na wetin be his name insists on going by boat, then Nigerian navy should provide at least a warship to escort them.

my brother if Dey cannot go by air the best option is by water ways, the Lagos Badagry express way is a mess 60% of people working in the island/mainland from Badagry travel by boat to work, I reside in Badagry and work in Tincan/apapa I go and come by boat every day. More over the game is goin to be played in Poto novo is it not far les than 2 hrs from cms jetty.

The simple fact need to be told:

1. Travel by road - the road is in a mess, a journey of 1hrs will take over 5hrs. If they travel by road most players will complain and may likely not answer future call.

2. Travel by boat - God forbid we lose to Benin, the excuse will be " most of the player suffered fro. Sea sickness on the boat trip".

My question now remains, what happened to charter flight from Lagos to Cotonou?
