The environmental issue with fertilizer production is emissions, not waste.
The CO2 emitted from ammonia production can be recycled for urea production.
Meanwhile, relatively clean natural gas is both the primary feedstock and fuel.

Hmmm..... so in fertilizer production the only waste coming out of the plant will be CO ².... no liquid waste... no solid waste.... no sludge... no other gas... just CO²..... and this can be recycled. I learned something new today.
