Former National Deputy Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Shuaib Oyedokun, has said that no amount of tears shed by the presidential candidate of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), Major-General Mohammadu Buhari (retd), would make Nigerians to change their minds from voting en-masse for the presidential candidate of the PDP, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, at today’s poll.

Alhaji Oyedokun, in an interview with Saturday Tribune in Abuja, declared that Nigerians of voting age across the country were eagerly waiting for today’s election to vote for Dr. Jonathan based on his qualities.

“It is too late for Buhari to shed tears, Nigerians believe in the leadership of Jonathan and there is no need changing a winning team in a serious contest like today’s poll,” he said.

General Buhari had shed tears in Abuja on Wednesday while presenting his manifestos to the public and lamented what he described as high insecurity, corruption and poverty ravaging the country despite its enormous human and natural resources.

Buhari can cry from now till kingdom come, he's not smelling that seat as president. His time is over. The man should just respect himself and retire from public life, like his mates, Shagari, Gowon and co.

Goodluck is the future.
