Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State recently stopped his convoy to assist some women and girls who were fetching firewood by the roadside.

In some pictures trending on social media, the governor was seen surrounded by his security aides who helped some of the women.

It’s unclear when this happened or the exact location but the pictures have been generating reactions on social media.

10 acres is a piece of cake in the north... They will gladly dash you 100 acres sef. The land mass in the north is just too much that is why insurgency thrives over there.

Yes, he is a gov and therefore entitled to a lot of privileges and luxury associated with his office. This privilege and luxury extends to his household members.

The state lacks resources to provide same luxury to every member of the society, but at least, a show of kindness of this nature once in a while is a clear testimony that Zulum is a born leader who has taken milk of human kindness.

I know some unintelligent creatures from one part will start asking if he will be providing same assistance to them all the time and indeed to everyone in the society. Some fools will even start telling you his children are abroad while he is deceiving people here. Pls, how can he send everybody abroad?

Zulum is truly a good man. His type is rare in Nigeria political games. Northern Nigeria doesn't deserve a good man like him.
