The truth is that appointing Justices into the Court of Appeal just for the purpose of balancing religious quotas is wrong and that is what the latest appointment is seeking to do.

The reason why Christians seem to dominate the composition of the Court of Appeal at present lies in the fact that Christians have historically always taken education more seriously than muslims. It wasn't because of quota systems or preferential treatment that most Court of Appeal judges are Christians, in the same way that most professors, medical doctors, lawyers, engineers, architects, software engineers in Nigeria are Christians. Plain and simple, taking education seriously pays off.

You can only be right about your submission if the appointed justices are not academically or professionally qualified to be so appointed. Religion or no religion.

These religious groups are actually doing more harm than good to our peaceful coexistence.
Must everything be viewed along religious line ?

They should go and sit down with their hypocrisy jàre. They are saying CAN has a morbid hate for Islam, like they should not.
Why should anyone love Islam in this country with all the carnage, destruction and death it has brought.

See the mofos claiming that Muslims are in the majority in South West... Meanwhile, there are many Muslims as there are Christians.

Everyone is rewriting the records to suit their story.

The ones who took your forefathers as slaves were not Muslims. The ones who threw your forefathers overboard into the ocean on their way to selling them off in the West were not Muslims. The ones who occupied your land and raped your women in the name of colonization were not Muslims. The ones who plundered your historical belongings and natural resources and used them to develop their land were not Muslims. The ones who are benefiting principally from the chaos in the world today are not Muslims...they are the ones you look up to as messiahs.

What an irony!

If I were you, having been shamed by this education NSCIA just gave CAN, I will be a bit patient before making assumptions. You will be shocked when the data on armed forces too is released. There are deliberate misinformation going around and I love how NSCIA is using facts instead of propaganda and outright lies being used by CAN.
Are you not surprised that our Judiciary is dominated by CAN members? Sir, I am flabbergasted! This is a judiciary even CAN can't defend as incorruptible! Visit www.freestuffsng.com for latest freestuffs in Nigeria.

Christians and Muslims staying together is like two enemies staying together and everyone is sure that one day, the marriage will cease to hold.
it's long over due for this two religions to be cautioned and learn to respect boundaries. Religion and tribe should be scrabbled in our system. filling forms or any form of application. rather, unique ID such as NIN should be used to represent names. Any country that puts religion at fore front cannot get any where at all.

I don't give a damn about rotational presidency. My position is that this country should either be restructured or everyone should go their separate ways.

Can you state at least two reasons why the country needs to be dismembered?
Those who want separation have no reasons other than that somethings are not moving in their favour. For instance, the Igbos think they are being sidelined in the equal sharing of the State resources. This NSCIA discourse was a reply to CAN expression of what they saw as ''attempt to over dominate the judicial system by the Muslims''. The fact is that We all have grudges, genuine or not genuine.

This is really dangerous for CAN.

I am a Christian. What my bible tells me is telling the truth; and as such I become as bold as lion. They that know their God shall do exploits.

There are pressing needs for Christians of the our generation than playing politics. Most of us very powerless. Some of these Pastors are even watering down the power of God on the Holy Altars of the Living God (The Consuming Fire, Man of War, Holy One of Isreal) with messages centered on politics, money, fame, make it early doctrine.

Charity begins at home. A lot of things are wrong with Christians and Churches than all these.

So if the Muslim judge on that list become Christian tomorrow, what happens? How many of our Christian Governors are doing better than the Governors that belief in the idols?

We are not even surprised again that those Civil Servant that design, implement and sustain frauds in this Nigeria country are Pastors, and not just Christians.

We dont need CAN, we need Christians (not titled Christians) that can say and preach the truth. It is the truth that we know and preach that we set free o o o o o . Not heavy envelopes.

Jesus even lamented that will He the Faith when He comes back??

How do they know the people mentioned are christians? Possibly by their names. The name you bear does not make a person a christain. Meanwhile I 've noticed a mentality. It seems that the believe is always if he''s not practicing out faith, them he's with the other side.

Well taking the first part your opening statement, one is tempted to believe you're true, but the end part rubbishes the intent you're trying to hide. You people are the problem and one wonders why everything in the country must be politicized, ethnicized or given religious connotations.

Pray tell, how did you come to the jaundiced conclusion that the recent appointment of judges sought to balance religious quotas? Well keyboard is almost free and you can simply put fingers and conjure things.....else it stands logic on its head that you did not mention or fault the procedure through which judges are selected as basis to fault the outcome or made no evidence to back your conclusion/position on balancing religious quota.

The other funny point, that because according to your unsubstantiated theory, Christians should dominate judiciary because they take education more seriously is pure bunkum. What stats gave you that? Is there any data the suggests Christians are more educated than Muslims? It is these kinds of foolish notion that get ignorance to be spread like wild fire.

It is enough embarrassment on us Christians when we're taken to the cleaners as this NCSIA report has done. How could CAN have made publications with unsubstantiated data, or did CAN rely on WhatsApp?
Whatever be the case, these religious bodies should stay off the professional climes and allow people be put in positions based on competence and fareness and not covert lobbying and tepid blackmails

The truth is that Christians dominate the intellectual and scholarly class in this country. For every one muslim graduate in Nigeria there are probably 10,000 Christian ones. That didn't happen because of a quota system. It happened because Christians take education more seriously than Northerners.

Big, fat lie.

The truth is that christians have turned government schools to church annexes. They deliberately marginalized the Muslim population. They force their religion down the throat of Muslim children.

The Yoruba Muslims have now woken up. They've seen their christian neighbours for what they really are; hypocrites, liars and pretenders.

Exactly, you got it. Yoruba Muslims seen christians passionately as families, friends and neighbors but what they didn't know was that Christians were working tirelessly to break them by shoving Christianity down their throats.

A typical example is their evil 1994 manifesto. Can you see how evil, despicable, ridiculous their manifesto is. It is crazy.
