that what has put us below the pyramid of wealthy nation, I dont care if the judge is a Muslim or Christian or Traditionalist, so far is for the interest of the majority, but no Nigeria we surely want to sneak in religious in every angle and 90% of us is still goin to hell fire

The truth is that appointing Justices into the Court of Appeal just for the purpose of balancing religious quotas is wrong and that is what the latest appointment is seeking to do.

The reason why Christians seem to dominate the composition at present lies in the fact that Christians have historically always taken education more seriously than muslims. It wasn't because of quota systems or preferential treatment that most Court of Appeal judges are Christians, in the same way that most professors, medical doctors, lawyers, engineers, architects, software engineers in Nigeria are Christians. Plain and simple, taking education seriously pays off.


There will always be an unnecessary excuse for everything. Oga, kiss the truth. You have no point.

The truth is that Christians dominate the intellectual and scholarly class in this country. For every one muslim graduate in Nigeria there are probably 10,000 Christian ones. That didn't happen because of a quota system. It happened because Christians take education more seriously than Northerners.

" The unassailable truth is that Justices of the Court of Appeal (JCAs) are 70 but the North with 19 States has 34 while the South with 17 States has 36. The South thus has more JCAs than the North.

Meanwhile, out of the 36 JCAs from the South West (where Muslims are a majority), South East and South South (in both of which Muslims have considerable indigenous populations), all the JCAs are Christians except for Justice Habeeb Adewale Abiru of Lagos state and Justice Mistura Bolaji-Yusuf of Oyo state. But in the three geo-political zones of the North where Muslims are predominant, there are 34 JCAs out of which 15 are Christians.

In other words, the North East has 4 Muslim JCAs and 7 Christians, the North Central has 6 Muslim JCAs and 7 Christians while the North West has 9 Muslim JCAs and 1 Christian JCA. Of the 36 from the South, only 2 are Muslims. The names and details of the Justices are as follows:

Seriously, CAN needs to be calming down. I would have expected CAN to have obtained and analysed this kind of data that's already in public domain before recklessly telling their members that PMB is islamizing Nigeria.
For God sake, if we claim our Judiciary is corrupt and most of our judges are 'Christians', then what are CAN members teaching their flock? Or is it that CAN has this information but just playing the usual politics?
Either way,they should remember the counsel to Christians in Matt 7:5

I swear the time census is carried out in MDAs both CAN and those who claim marginalisation will come out in a big shame. They need to get fact right before embarking on this propaganda. I've comprehensive list of all appointments made by PMB in all the MDAs and anytime I counter the allegations of those same minded people one useless moderator ban me. This is the same attitude they portray in journalism, their religious bodies, u can't run religion with hypocrisy. In all govt capacity in Nigeria at Federal level there are more Southern Christians than Muslims.
