Even during the first republic, regional creations were difficult that is why only the Midwest region was created.but after that,we dumped regionalism and adopted states and creation of states under subsequent cilivian administration are impossible
who dumped regionalism? Gowon! Why? Who did he consult before creating the first 12 states in 1967? Why couldn't he leave the region's alone like Aguiyi did? Now we are living in states created by fulani soldiers without due process

It is laughable that you are listing all the qualities that people from your region possess.

Gowon is from a northern minority who were being marginalized in the northern region infact, regionalism favoured the major ethnicities to the detriment of the minorities.states gave the minorities a bigger say and sense of belonging and again it will help weaken the support the minorities in the east had for Biafra...

Most of the regions were actually created by the British without consulting us while all states were created by nigerians after due consultation so the question of due process does not arise.I prefer states to regions.
Almost all the soldiers that created states are not Fulani's.Gowon as you know is an ngas by ethnicity who are mainly Christians.murtala cksins to be from kano but some sources says hes from plateau or edo.ibb is a gwari man from Niger while abacha claims kano but originally a kanuri from borno so your claim about Fulani's creating States is mainly false

the most important thing is that you agree that states were created from agreed regions arbitrarily. So any sharing formula that uses states is also unfair.
I know you like states, anything that keeps Igbos in Nigeria with you is welcomed by you isn't it?

What's here to disclaim? It's just the fact. Since after the civil war, the north has taken over every important position in the country, leaving out the overly qualified south. They are rapidly promoted to become the next qualified for top positions that should be earned by echelon and then others (southerners) who were supposed to be next in line will be forcefully retired. You can't run a nation this way and be successful.
In the military, you'll see a lot of north.ernsoldiers who are less than 5ft2" tall. That's very rare in the South, Southeast especially
#bantilosha.
You know the drill.

There was a time a certain imo lt general was the only one in imo state. Yrs before he was made one, none.
And in the north almost each local govt had a general.
His son who started off as a military man left the army. The second son who loved army work left Nigeria and joined the us army. This man never headed a recognised post and he didn't stay long to enjoy the general status.
All the outside training, posting, juicy appointments goes to the north and you have to promise to be royal to the north for you to reach that level. They usually retire them as captain or lt co.

It was Jonathan that promoted these guys accordingly and it's one of the grievances the north had against him.

A current example:
We are all waiting for who the next IGP would be,
Ofcourse, the Northern Fulani guy Buhari prefers, is just a Commissioner of Police and there are DIG's and AIG's ahead of him, one of them, a Southerner even has a PhD.

But Buhari and his Northern Cabal quickly ask the C.P Fulani guy to attend Officers Course in Kuru (Inst of Strategic Studies) and are doing everything possible (and insulting) to make him the IGP, over more qualified and senior Officer, who are mostly Southerners.

The extension of the tenure of the over-stayed, current IGP, is to allow this guy to catch-up some mileage so that when he is finally announced, it wont be such a scandal. The extension of the tenure of the current IGP was to buy time for the junior and unqualified C.P.

Nigeria is a FRAUD perpetuated by Northerners, that must Collapse, it is not a question of whether we want it or not, it MUST Collapse.
Exactly.

During recruitment, the criteria for north is diff just like one used in tertiary institutions.

Southern politicians have low self esteem.

No need for a disclaimer because the facts are as clear as daylight: The Nigerian Army is indeed dominated by northerners and all important military formations/establishments/installations also firmly concentrated in the North.

It was not done arbitrarily.it was done based on the old provincial system and agitations..the old eastern region has 9,west has 6,Midwest 2 and north 19.all states were former provinces..

National sharing formula using states is not perfect but far better than ones utilizing regions because through states, more people will benefit.

I am a fan of one Nigeria but if igbos want to go,no wahala but they must do so through internationally accepted means and must not include the ss except igbo areas

Who allocated more states to some favoured zones? Nothern soldiers!
One moment you guys are upset that the east is clamouring for more states, another moment, you are loving the benefits and handicaps that come with having more or fewer states..
Isn't that called mischief?
yeah! 5 states that is not even as big as an LGA in the north. Soon they will be agitating for each street in the East to become a state.

Restructuring will address all these problems, even the military needs it. I don't know what gives the north the audacity to think that they have a say in this country than others

The North are smarter ;. North West , North Central , North East,. North is North ( in most cases) either Hausa and Fulani.

But South West differ from South East and from South South

You are very funny and it remains the one of the reasons Nigeria is a joke. If you want to dabble into equity, each political zone in Nigeria should have equal number of states. The funny picture you wanted to paint about equal distribution of recruits among states is foolhardy. Nobody is an enemy of Nigeria. However the way Nigeria is presently configured attracts self-induced distractors.

Gbam.I love this rebuttal and disclaimer .recruitments are done on state by state basis so the zone with the most states gains

You must also love the instance when people seek to dissociate from the colonial crap called Nigeria. The level of insincerity among Nigerians is a thing to behold. I guess you are happy a zone is left with 5 states while certain zones have 7 states. With this disparity in number of states among the zones also goes the shortage of federal allocation.

My only concern here is how hausa fulani names find their way into Plateau and Benue states recruits. These guys are craftily replacing indigenous candidates from these two states with hausa fulani, and the people are not even noticing it.
Re: Disclaimer: Re - North Dominates Nigerian Army Recruitment by DedeNkem: 9:40am On Apr 01, 2021
The North illegally allocated more States to their zone due to the flawed census data.

To counter this fraud, every zone should have be allocated the same amount of States. Every zone should have equal representation!

I know Fulanis won't like this because it will halt their sick total-takeover plan! They crooked dominance in politics has destroyed this country!
