The reading public and entire people of Oyi and Ayamelum Federal Constituency should disregard the FAKE NEWS with the above headline. There’s No truth in the story making rounds as it is the handiwork of fifth columnists and political elements who are threatened by the acceptance and general endorsement of Barrister Vincent Ofumelu as the consensus candidate for all political parties in Oyi and Ayamelum ahead of 2023 elections.

The member representing the People of Oyi and Ayamelum at the 9th National Assembly is a Honorable man whose image and character we would not allow any group and persons to tarnish in their ill quest to ride on his popularity and benevolence to political relevance.

Let it be known that if Hon. Vincent Ofumelu has not and neither harbors any plan whatsoever to obtain the Nomination form of the PDP by proxy. He is still a committed and bonafide member of the ruling All Progressives Congress Party and only concerned about delivering dividends of Democracy to the people he represents.

Ignore the mischief makers, purveyors of fake news and political buccaneers who rather than concede defeat are busying looking for straws to clutch.
