Nigerians have decided. Let us respect each other and hope that the next four years work out to our advantage as a people. Even with PDP govt and GEJ as president, your NASS members and governors who you have/will freely elect(ed) should serve as a wedge against the ruling party corruption that we have witnessed since 1999. CONGRATS AND WELLDONE NIGERIA |

Naija congrats. Thank God that the National assembly is not only PDP, but i believe a good number of opposition esp ACN who will together with others check mate GEJ if he is not toeing along the path of fairness and good leadership. Also i foresee that next election it will not be ONE REGION saying we can do without the other but LOBBYING will be learnt as a new course in our corridors of power. in addition i hope the electorate will learn how to make there representatives be accountable to them by making them hear them always. so once again congrats naija, democracy has begun in earnest. |
Re: Official Results Of Presidential Election: By INEC by Nobody: 5:49pm On Apr 17, 2011 |
Judging from the result. . , Northerners had their own CPC. There is no way GEJ would have won without the SW/MBelt votes. |

Nigeria way to go, taking this result as the wish of all Nigerians who voted yesterday in the presidential election, the following are obvious: 1. I even contact friends that voted for PDP, i ask why voted PDP when u wake up with no light, headed for the polling unit and voted for thesame people who have kept you in darkness, all he said was Buhari is not good for Nigeria, bla bla bla, but refuse to give reason why he voted for Jo. 2. Alot of people voted for PDP in the south west, and i ask myself, that was thesame mistake make in 2003 and PDP took over southwest, thesame might happen next week, am waiting. Since this is what Nigeria wanted, plssssssssssssssssss Don't complain of any problem that will come with this man for the next 4 years, that means, pls bear your pain and suffering, who am i to complain, EVERY NATION DESERVE THE LEADER THEY GET simple. Nigeria i give up on you. |

This is fantastic news. The sons and daughters of the Niger Delta can now stand tall and rest assured that they have FINALLY been recognized as TRUE citizens of the country Nigeria that has for so long thrived on the wealth beneath their feet, while paying back so little. With Izon delta man Jonathan Goodluck voted into power for a full 4-year second term, the world's 5th largest oil producer can join the ranks of nations that regard ALL their citizens as true equals before the voting electorate. The recurrent, brooding nightmare of "Born to Rule" retrogression has given way to a shimmering dawn of new hope, enriched by justice, equality, fairplay and foresight. Bravo Nigeria, you got it right this time, with this freest and fairest EVER election. Congratulations and best wishes to all citizens and lovers of that great land. |
