Ensured he got decent votes in the core North to meet the 25% requirement.

The truth remains that the votes GEJ got in the SW were Igbo votes.

Majority of the votes for GEJ in the SW came from the Igbos living there,

only a few Yorubas voted, others stayed at home and didn't bother to vote, because they don't have their own running for President.

You guys must be so much in love with Yoruba. I can't count how many of these silly threads have appeared in the politics section within the last one hour.

The same ticket that won in almost Yoruba state and answerable to one Ota farmer. The last time I checked, this ticket was helped to victory also in the South east by the overwhelmingly large population of yorubas living in the South East (95% of South East population is yoruba). So what is your point? At the end of the day it is not about the tribal affiliation of the man at the centre but how how he affects the living standard of the general populace.
