Majority said they voted for the man and not the party ?  So what happens when the man you voted for gives your money and opportunities to his fellow PDP member.

I say it is a very dumb move  - only losers/helpless share that ideology of defeat.

I would be very interested to hear the Great fela's response on the above matter.

, it wasn't a dumb move, it only showed that majority of Nigerians are pleased with the perfomace of the PDP government in the last 12years.

You are right . . . . especially since I said the same thing back after the 2007 election, and everytime people claimed Yar adua was rigged in, or Obasanjo forced Yar adua on Nigerians.  ROFLMAO!!

manuch:

Did Americans vote for Obama or Democratic party?

Both!   undecided undecided undecided American's are not dumb to believe that farce that there is some imaginary separation between the two. Being a Democrat helped Obama more than anything else could have. It was not his non-existent record in Government that brought him in, it was more that he had great ideas, a great history, and had the ideas the people wanted.

NIGERIANS DESERVE THE LOOTERS THAT HAS BEEN LOOTING THEM. THE ONL TIME THEY HAVE TO MAKE A CRUCIAL CHANGE THEY BLEW IT UP. IT WILL ONLY TAKE AN INCORRUPTIBLE MAN TO FIGHT CORRUPTION AND JEG IS NOT ONE OF THEM. LOOTERS WILL GO FREELY AND MORE LOOTING IS ABOUT TO BEGIN. HE HAS PROMISED TO GIVE YOU LIGHT IN 2015 AND THAT WILL BE THE END OF HIS TENURE LIKE OBJ PROMISED. SO WE'LL BE WAITING FOR THE NEXT PDP CABDIDATE TO MAKE MORE POWER PROMISES. (Since 1999 pdp dey promise dey kum. Una mumu neva do. I'm not surprised afterall na mumuchukwu GEJ wan rule una.)

Those who supported BB against GEJ should try to be civil and accept defeat honorably. How can you say that anyone who voted GEJ shouldn't complain if after or during the course of 4 years the president-elect doesn't perform?
Bitter losers.
It is within everybody's right to criticize the government. Americans criticize Obama, Brits are already on Cameron's neck and the French have been hassling Sarkozy for a while now so y'all should just zip it. The same north who gave lots of votes to Buhari voted Shagari ahead of Awo and Zik so it is immaterial if you lot think Jonathan isn't capable. After all, how much better is Buhari, a barely literate and old recycled democracy hater? People who voted GEJ have faith in him rightly or wrongly. Only time can tell. If he disappoints , they get another chance in 2015. That's the beauty of democracy.
. . . revomind.

The Returning Officer, who spoke on the circumstances that led to the cancellation of the election in the area, explained that agents of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and Accord Party, AP, forced him to announce the Accord Party candidate as winner in the election characterized by irregularities penultimate Saturday
.
Did you read the link?
This has nothing to do with the presidential election in my opinion.

How could a PDP agent force him to announce an accord party candidate a winner?
BTW the result was cancelled according to the write up. So what's you grouse?
