Guys I applied for NLNG and I just took SHL aptitude test for the second round validation test.

Please do any of you know why this shl test is conducted more than once?

Cus this is my first time taking this test for a second round for just a particular company.

the validation/verification test is just to verify/validate you took the first test yourself. That's all... Besides, how did you apply for this NLNG ... Show us the way na

Ok I still have questions but let me reply yours first.
So I applied like I think last year August for the Marine Engineering Job openings for Engine Cadetship.

My friend sent me the link and like play like play I just applied and we got a test invitation mail June this year inviting us to take shl test which spanned from 1st to 5th of July.

Then last week they sent us another shl test link with same segments to take it for a second round.

But what I noticed was when we did the first round test it was not proctored because I didn’t see the camera set up or the webcam flash as it were during the second round test. So I was just wondering.

Then part of my question is; so if the second round test was to verify if you were the one that did the first one, what if you perform better in the second round?

Because I can’t lie’ I got to know how the test is after taking the first round that it’s a little challenging, I didn’t practice at all before taking it, all I did was guess work after answering 1 and 2 question in the numerical segment.

But when I got the second round opportunity, I made sure I practice a lot of past questions and when I took the numerical part I can beat my chest that if I fail any question I’ll only fail 2 to 3 questions out of 18.

I think since you got the mail for verification test after your first test, it can only mean you met the percentile score needed for the role. In that case I'll assume you are expected to perform better in the second test or at least at par with the performance in the first test. So if you do better in second one, I guess you on your way to land yourself an interview invitation.

Are you sure it will land today? because for me I'm focusing on between ending of this week to Wednesday next week. did they say mails will be sent first working day of August?

Speaking ahead by faith, that October 4th start date, is it for everyone? Anybody has any idea about that ?
