Is this event a supernatural one or natural occurrences that do happen to seas , oceans or rivers to depart for hours occasionally ?

Before you argue , think why the Egyptians have never at any time came out to dispute this written event . It happened to their ancestors and there are archaeological evidences showing that the Israelites actually lived in Egypt.
