That is what I have been saying.
Nigeria should be getting Twitter HQ by default.

We have everything. The market, the skilled manpower.
Everything Twitter needs.
Jack Dorsey himself was in Lagos sometime ago.

Unfortunately what we lacked was a decent FG.
Agents of the Buhari govt threatening Twitter.
Free speech and freedom looking like a suggestion under the weight of the incoming social media bill.

Jack Dorsey had to make an alternate.
Move to ghana, while still playing in the Nigerian tech market.

A win for Ghana, A win for Twitter but a lose to Nigeria.

Its a pity that the Ghana we where once better of has gone above and beyond us despite our large population and numerous advantages which we have refused to exploit as a result of hatred, tribalism and religious fanatism.

Also bad and terrible leaders.

When you hear FDI under Buhari is at all time low.

You won't doubt it.

This is a clear evidence.
I am sure there are many examples that we don't know of.

Twitter would have love to establish it's first Africa office in Nigeria, but a government that does not support young innovators but will advise it's youth to embrace "Cowtocurrency" as a means of livelihood will only end up chasing big tech investors like Twitter away....

Now, Ghana will benefit immensely for this because they have a government that is working and a president that supports the youth unlike a lifeless donkey in London who calls his youth "LAZY"

They're using this recruitment to compensate Nigeria youths which I will commend them for.

The problem they'll have with having their headquarter here is the intolerance of our government to critics.
Imagine if Jack was in Nig during #Endsars, his passport would have been seized and he would be in court by now.
Ghana is more tolerant of human rights than Nig

That social Media bill if it ever comes in is going to kill off Major investments in tech.

None of them will come here.

All of them will go to Ghana and enjoy Nigeria from afar.

Make una keep hailing Buhari and his despicable incompetent govt.

Jack knows Nigerians are intelligent and talented but the politicians are evil.

He needs Nigerians but he doesn't want anything to do with all our governments
