The federal government has approved the activation of new SIM card registration with mandatory NIN.

New SIM registration to resume April 19 with NIN

The Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr Isa Ali Pantami, who issued the directive on Thursday said the approval was in line with the Revised National Digital Identity Policy for SIM Card Registration.

A statement by the Technical Assistant (Information Technology) to the Minister, Dr Femi Adeluyi said the implementation of the Policy will commence on Monday, 19th of April 2021.

Adeluyi explained that the issuance of new SIMs and other suspended activities will resume on the same date, as long as verification is done and the guidelines are fully adhered to.

After caught on camera praising Osama Bin Laden's Al-Queda years ago he's now trying to bribe Nigerians with this. It pains me that I have already given this terrorist my details. God forgive my stupidity angry
