It's still unimaginable how they think they can run forever and live as a fugitive in this era of bvn, nin registration, biometric systems etc. That they had to flee the country alone tells you that they know they can't escape from being rearrested and prosecuted for as long as they're in Nigeria.
I think with this, Nigeria Police must have alerted Interpol and provided their details to all immigration units.
The reality is that they just extended their stay in prison if they make it back alive to the prison.
