Great Britain will do whatever is in the best interest of Great Britain, and a collapsed Nigerian state doesn't serve anyone. That said, Nigeria's collapse is inevitable, or so it seems, which means, the British government needs to start thinking about sides. Choosing to side with Biafra is a no-brainer, as the North has nothing to offer. Northern Nigeria is just an overpopulated Niger.

Choosing Biafra has a lot of disadvantages to the British, mainly because they'd be dealing with people who have similitude of objectivity and a lot at stake. A trade by barter with Fulani is a much better deal: Fulani needs a homeland, give them Nigeria in exchange for the massive gas reserves and oil. Dealing with Biafrans means buying everything at current market price. Why do you think these people ganged up against Jonathan? That was a president from the oil producing area who was a clog in the wheel of "business as usual". Do really think that under normal circumstances, that without western influence, that the Fulani had what it took to oust Mr Jonathan? A fact of neo-colonialism is that no leader that has the interest of Africans at heart ever gets the backing of the West. From Congo to Burkina Faso, Mozambique to Angola, it is the same theme occasioned by the whiteman's greed with the consequence being the shedding of the blackman's blood.

Goodluck wasn't removed by the West? He was removed by the opposition, comprised primarily of disgruntled ex-PDP members.

A stable and economically viable Nigeria is in the UKs best interest, as it makes Great Britain more relevant on the international scene. How does Britain benefit from Nigeria becoming another Niger?

Oil is a fast dying commodity, which by 2030 will have very little value, as the sale of gas-powered vehicles will be banned in the UK and across Europe by then.

Thus, the objective has changed. A broken and dysfunctional Nigeria means Britain and other English-speaking nations having to pick up the pieces, nobody wants that, just as nobody wants the Fulani, they've past their usefulness.

of those two groups, (ipob n middle east muslims)which one do you think can assimilate to the British way of life.

give an honest answer please

sometimes people find ways to complicate the uncomplicated

I only pity an innocent ipob man who ll embark on this journey of no return. I bet my life on it that it ll be a regret for anyone who embark on this journey.

I live here in UK as Nigerian British, if you think in your wildest imagination that UK is serious about this, you r in for a rude shock.

They ll not only waste your time, you ll be psychologically dealt with through all sort of wickedness called Asylum measures put in place and eventually kick you back to Nigeria.

My guy, if it was that easy, load of those innocent guys from a place where real battle is going on Iraq’s, Yemen, Syria, Vietnam, Bangladesh would have got a temporal stay in UK but sadly their situation is even worse than those they left in War front back homes.

Few days ago, one of the Yemen guy who has been here for 13years just died at the hospital. He never went back home cos there was nothing to travel with. He only managed to survive through Charity where i worked and helped on Weekend basis.

UK doesn’t give Bleep about integration when it comes to Countries-Nigeria, Yemen, India etc. If that is the case, Nigerians would have had more opportunities than the Indians who are all over the place in UK with key portfolios in government
