|Help With Tips On Making My Room Look Nice by Catfishing(f): 12:47pm On Apr 25|
I am planning on leaving my father's house and relocating to my apartment (self con).
The problem is: I have 180k with me. The apartment is 80k (in Owerri), I want the daddies and mummies in the house to please guide me on things to buy so as to make the room look comfy.
You put price alongside the item(s) I'm suppose to get.
Bed; sofa; book shelf; cloths hanger; gas cooker/stove; plates/pots; mirror; etc.....just list it
N.B: after rent shit, I'll be left with 100k.

I will advice you buy what you çan little by little.you must not get all the items at once.remember you will eat o.and I'm sure the money for food is still part of that 100k you are happy you've got.
if you are working, each month get 2_3 things for the house..small small like that your house will meet your taste.

I recently rented an apartment, and I hate to tell you this, 100k may not buy you the kind of comfort you currently enjoy at your parent's home.
But, if you are moving with a lot of stuff like mattress and bed, cooking pots, fridge, shoe rack, gas cooker with cylinder, and some other things, then 100k could buy you comfort. Otherwise, you are still a few thousands of Naira away from comfort.
Here is a breakdown of the things that may gulp your money:
Painting. This includes; Paint, hire of a painter or DIY, & brushes - Over 10k
Curtain and the rails- Dependent on your budget.
Standing fan - 8k
Inflatable chair or 2 seater sofa - 20k
Mattress and Pillow- depending on size, 27k upwards
Bedside fridge/ table top - 40k upwards
Gas Cooker, cylinder, regulator & pipe - 15k or more
Pot, plates, kettle, frying pan, cups, cutleries, cooking spoons, tray, plate rack - 10k
Shoe rack & clothes hanger - 3k
Dirty clothes basket -
Broom, mop, moping bucket, foot mat, toilet brush, hand brush, bowls, & bucket - 6k
Mirror - 1k upwards
Makeup and grooming supplies organizer -
Wardrobe (if the apartment lacks one) - 20k upwards
Lighting and extension -
Decor - 5k upwards
These are all I can think of for now. But there are still supplies, I mean toiletries and food provision.
Girl, you still have a long way to go. Whoever said adulting is easy?
