In a country fighting religious war through various gangs ranging from Bokoharam, bandits... We can't look beyond religion. If not this country is forever doom and many will perish.

What they tell u every week in church is unfortunate and contrary to reality. OBJ got most of the votes that made him President from 1999-2007. GEJ got required votes of more than 25% requisite required from atleast 19 states from each of the 6 geopolitical zones to win election in 2011. GEJ lost election amidst serious concern for failure to tackle BH insurgency that conquered almost all 19 Northern states in 2015.
Now, North has learnt lesson that no other region have learnt in Nigeria; the lesson North learn is that PMB as Northerner failed to tackle current insecurity and North see this as a big failure from their own and will hardly resort to electing people base in religious ground unless if the situation warrant.
Contrary to potential improvement in election personality in the North, some zones are calling their sons Muslims, Aboki, Mallam and all sort of names for making alliance with APC. Uzodinma who became Governor through similar fate with Douye Diri of Bayelsa and Matawalle of Katsina all from PDP is being extremely hated by those people for just being in APC to the extent they call APC Islamic party.
The propaganda and hates spread about Tinubu is purely on his religious background (this is the circumstances that I exempted can force Northerners to vote based on religious background to support Tinubu's candidacy when it's well evident that he is hated for being Muslim Southerner).
Why is it that almost all those opposing Tinubu's Candidacy even from SW are strongly affiliated to churches?
Let see if PDP will favour their religion come 2023.
All the two major parties are likely going to field Muslims candidate and we'll see how you'll react contrarily to your assertion!
