If we have other functional seaports and functional international airports, I believe that other regions will do better. Lagos and Ogun state are benefiting from the proximity of these great sectors of the economy. |

Neutralobserver:lagos is a commercial place, Unlike every other state. Upon the high IGR, lagos still lacks good road, has poor drainage system, Touts all over the places, High crime rate, zero security. What's then the impact of the iGR extorted from business owners in lagos. . 3 Likes |

ProvisioDigital:there's nothing special about Lagos other than dumb federal government monopoly to the Atlantic sea and import. That's the Yoruba gain from the civil war. Nearly all oil companies in the south-south have their headquarters in Lagos. The ports in warri, port Harcourt, Calabar that are situated on the edge of the Atlantic should be opened as well as Lagos. This will reduce Lagos revenue and population. 3 Likes 1 Share |
