pls sumone in d house shud help me with d step by step tutorial on hw to speed up my downloads. have searched d net buh d answers given didnt help, maybe cos am doin d download from Nigeria  so am hopin maybe someone here in nigeria havin a good download speed can help. am using utorrent and ma isp is starcomms, wt a wireless router for it. |

starcomms is known for throttling/blocking torrents, i hate them, make sure first that it isnt starcomms that is blocking u, by connecting ur pc to another isp/lan n watch the speeds. that way u can decide if its starcooms that is blocking u. i get speeds of 90kB/sec on my office lan and 30KB/SEC ON VISAFONE, visafone set their max download limit at 30kB/SEC!!, crazy dudes, it cant go higher than that, got abt 50KB/sec on multilinks till they started throttling their download speeds like visafone!, am pissed read the link below for more info, http://bootstrike.com/Articles/BitTorrentGuide/ |
