To stay in character for her role as a crack-cocaine addict in the movie, 'Jungle Fever', the Academy Award-winning actress did not bathe or shower for eight weeks! She revealed this surprising news in an interview and said she had to do that because since she wasn't willing to experiment with the drugs, she had to embrace her character another way by remaining unwatched.

3. Christian Bale

Popular actor, Christian Bale is famously known for his method of acting that usually keeps him in character even after shooting movies!

However, in preparation for his role as 'Trevor Reznik' in the psychological thriller movie, 'The Machinist', Christian Bale took things to an extreme and lost 62 pounds (28 kg) which surprised so many people, and even the director of the movie told him he went too far.
