In a situation where the present administration cannot do the needful to secure life and property, this is welcome.

That is not how democracy works mister. Be advised. The death of one means autocracy through the other. It will be disastrous to exchange one dictatorship for another.

One of the key reasons for the present degeneration is the absence of proper political opposition because the APC set out from the onset to destroy multi party politics in Nigeria.
