Second, does God lie? In Isaiah 58, God declared that He does not hear you when you fast but that if you do what He wants instead, He will hear you.

So death is not a failure in itself because death comes to all men, but it's the final destination that determines that.

Therefore it doesn't matter, if you like live as long as Methuselah in the Bible, and even gain the whole world while you were alive, if you still end up in hell, you're nothing but a monumental failure!

Too critical of what? Ideas that are not based on the Word of God?

I am trying to get you to see that your ideas where fasting may not even be based on the objective review of God's own word but instead on the doctrines and traditions of men, what Jesus Christ declared were nothing but lies that serve to heap curses on those who spread them and also on those who follow them.

No where else does God seemingly tackle, head on, the idea of fasting in Bible, as He does in Isaiah 58. And there we learn that God does not answer prayers because one choose to starve oneself,meaning that the practice in and of itself is useless where God is concerned. God then goes on to explain in the same chapter what kind of works would spur Him to answer those who do them.

You claim to be some sort of missionary who knows the bible in detail .... I am not a missionary, neither do I desire to attach any meaningless titles to my name.
