Igbochief001:
Now yorubas are talking ...if u must take igbo turn at least present someone that we can't reject

Igbos all over the world would support Dr. Akinwumi Adesina ...you know why ? Because Igbos support u no matter where u are from ...if and only if you are good

No other major tribe in Nigeria can do that only igbos

Bring okonji iwela and they would start looking for fault

Bring peter obi same

But we don't really care ...just be good abeg

No tribe owns any turn as far as constitution is concerned. Zoning is a party thing. To be very honest with you, what the SE needs to do is to first create a formidable party whose ideology will resonate with their people and same can then be spread to dominate other region or merge with other parties from other region.

As the current political structure stands, I don't see APC or PDP giving them the Presidential slot. An Igbo candidate may come out to contest a primary under APC or PDP, but the automatic slot, he will not get. If he then wins the primary, it is a different issue. Even BAT will not get auto ticket but may get block support which will boost his chance at the primary.

It would have been so nice if APGA spread well in the SE and also manages to capture some other regions as well. In that case, it would be so easy to merge up and grow and have a good chance at delivering the President the SE so yearn for.

Even if there's zoning from either party, the "no auto-ticket" will defeat the intended aim as the party either APC or PDP would not want to lose out. The zone remains the best zone where vice president can be shopped for either party depending on who picks their presidential ticket.

The "political scores" has to be well calculated. It's really a risky risk to take for both ruling party.

Oga Adesina is a good candidate, but I prefer Adesina to concentrate on the good job he is currently doing at Afdb, because nigeria politics is too dirty and difficult for decent people.
what nigeria need now is political restructure.
After genuine restructure of nigeria, only then can a decent man like Oga Adesina accept to be the president and pilot the rapid development of nigeria based on equality and justice, as a global citizen he has always been, not this local bigot that we currently have, who is fast dragging nigeria into disintegration.

What's the point when they will manipulate the elections? Nigeria's elections are not free and fair.

I do not say that I prefer tinubu. infact tinubu is part of the problem currently confronting the nation, by bringing in this strange Apc change into nigeria politics.
Apc change has become the next level of politics, where terrorists are pardoned and handsomely rewarded, where some set of murderers must not be prosecuted but peaceful protesters are haunted down and killed without remorse.
What made you think that tinubu's presidency will be any thing different from the current dispensation ?

Tinubu cannot get broad support from SW except for the head slammers and the touts.
Guyman02:
Akinwumi Adeshina is a candidate that can make the South East and South South regions to support the South West in 2023, he is business oriented and a technocrat who can revive the economy and give a level playing field to everyone, he is not nepotic and has international experience.
Tinubu cannot get broad support outside Yorubaland, the North is just pretending to support him

You started off well but ended poorly which is how most Nollywood films are.

A minimum wage of N75k will immediately do 2 things.

1. All SME's will sack 80% of their staff. Unemployment rate will reach 80% which will lead to a massive upsurge in crime.

The staff left behind will be those that agree to do the work of 4 people thereby destroying their health for that N75k

2. The increased costs will be passed across to the consumer. Tht is how it is done globally. When the driver of the pure water company is earning N75k and each of the boys who produce and package it is earning N75k then expect to start paying at least N100 per sachet.

Thank God you are not the Minister of Labour. Your ignorance of how things actually work would have destroyed the country

BigBashiru:

He has a good track record in finance - he will most likely fire Emefiele for incompetence and will most likely set the right minimum wage which should be at least N75000

Nah you got it wrong bro. Here are steps that need to be taken:
1.) Emefiele needs to be fired for incompetence.
2.) N1000 note needs to removed from circulation.
3.) There needs to be a new CBN directive for repricing of goods and commodities - setting maximum prices for local and imported goods for a 2 year period after which it will be allowed free float.
4.) Those that are sacked by the N75000 policy would be employed by the government.

Nice thoughts from you - N18,000 cant do much in Nigeria. Even with N18000 no one takes the N18000 jobs so if its made N75000 and people are fired, the effect is still almost the same....

Did south build a political party when obj became president ?

Did north build when yaradua became president

Did south south when Jonathan became president ?

Truth of the mater is there is absolutely nothing an igbo man would do to be loved by nigerians except he goes against his people even at that they won't still like him ...ask Joe igbokwe as rochas

You all fear igbo domination deep inside all of you

If they can achieve all this without politics what would they do with political power ...they already dominate market what do they want in politics ...that's the mindset of most nigerians

Yoruba fear igbo man being president would install and igbo governor of lagos

North fear igbos might revenge for biafran war

Say the truth stop asking Igbos to do what no tribe has done before

Which means Adesina will have to make serious concessions by ceding national interests, opportunities & assets to these "strong men".

NIGERIA AT THIS POINT NEED TO BE RESCUE...... MAJOR REASON WHY TECHNOCRAT LIKE ADESHINA IS THE BEST CANDIDATE.....HE IS FAR BETTER THAN OSIBANJO because IF THE LATER WAS CHOOSING, IT IS AS BAD AS HAVING TINUBU AS THE PRESIDENT. YOU READ ABOUT HIS WIFE COMMENTS ON SENETOR SMITH ADEYEMI FEWS DAYS AGO? TINUBU OR OSIBANJO ARE NOT SOMEONE THAT CAN BE ALLOW TO RULE THIS COUNTRY..... IF THAT HAPPENS, THEY WILL TURN ALL THE NATIONAL RESOURCES TO THEIR OWN PRIVATE PROPERTY WITHIN A YEAR. LOOK AT LAGOS STATE RESOURCES, TINUBU OWNS AND CONTROL IT WITHOUT ANY HINDRANCES.

EXACTLY MY POINT, OSINBAJO IS TINUBU SON, HE MADE HIM WHO HE IS TODAY BOTH POLITICALLY AND CAREER WISE.
TINUBU WILL ONLY REFRESH HIS PURSE WITH NATIONAL RESOURCES AND BECOME THR OWNER IN THE LONG RUN.
E.G LAGOS STATE GOVT..... TINUBU CONTROL RESOURCES ALONE. HE SPONSOR POLITICAL ACTIVITIES OF OTHER STATE WITH LAGOS STATE REVENUE.

just imagine some people like to inflict their bad miserable influence on others.
