He has never been investigated by EFCC. He was acquited by CCT Tribunal on a technicality and not the corruption allegations.

The technicality was that he should have first been invited to explain the allegations before been charged to the CCT Tribunal for false declaration of assets and failing to disclose several foreign accounts.
