A quick question, 'what do you do when you want to change the cover design of an already published book?'

Alright...

First, you have to be careful not to lose the identity of your book. It's might lose its identity as in, looking different to already established audience causing a bit of confusion

How do you go about it?
First, every design has a concept behind it.
This concept is the focal point of the message behind the design.

You have to ensure your graphic artist (and if it's you, you'd have to take notice) doesn't deviate much from that design concept!

In an earlier post, I pointed out that as your writing has a story for your audience, your cover design should tell a story too

This is the essence of the design itself

Secondly, you'd need a bit of PR except your book is a best seller on its own...

Here's where you'd hire a good PR person to get to your audience about that piece of information about your rebranding

Finally, both the design and redesign are strategies that an author can make use to make your book read!
