What is the need for a coup when we have the house of senate and rep respectively to do the needful democratically?? Abi them tie people leg and hand for this country?
The doctrine of necessity suggests to one not a fool to do all necessary to avoid imminent and impending death the sort that stares us in the face in Nigeria presently. That is the rock solid truth! The Constitution envisaged a President in the mould of President Buhari might be elected and provides the impeachment clause to remove him but the present National Assembly is largely made up of lame ducks whose legacy means nothing to them. Quite appalling!

always pessimist.... Wat issue do u have with being united ?

Countries that have divided wat did day gain how long did it take dem to gain sustainability and how many actually got that?

Things are bad I agree but I'm sure u were among those that voted buhari...

Nigeria is better united than divided... We just need to renegotiate the terms

Even if the military have such plans they wont say it. As it is now, the military have been pulverized and infilterated by Boko Haram.

you are so correct - since the days of Murtala Ramat Muhammed, the supremacy of the Military chain of command was breached and it continued until Sanni Abacha. The khaki boys do not need General Onyema's screams of loyalty, he is part of the military establishment that has failed to secure the lives and properties of the Nigerian people, and if there are more committed and patriotic officers who are burning with the desire to save the republic from Buhari and the likes of Onyema, why shouldn't they do it?

After all, there was a time some 37 years ago when a 41 year old Major General Buhari felt the country was heading towards a wrong direction and he and his comrades struck and threw out Alhaji Shehu Usman Aliyu Shagari from office, a man who was overwhelmingly elected by Nigerians in 1979 and 1983, who in my opinion is 1,000 times better than Buhari in securing Nigeria and communicates often and directly with Nigerians unlike Buhari - yet Buhari told us he was incompetent and used guns and tanks to remove Shagari from office, so why cant Buhari be served a taste of his own medicine especially when he has proven to be worse than the very man he removed from office by force 37 years ago and even worse than the man he defeated 6 years ago on the ballot box?

Mr. Loyalty Onyema, Those who will take over and throw Buhari out of office are officers who do not care about what their superiors think but what the Nigerians masses yearn for - "A right to simply live in peace and not be robbed, raped, kidnapped or killed by bandits, herdsmen or criminals"

Lol...

Now, I miss President Abba Kyari. At least, while he held sway, things weren't this chaotic nationwide and at the Presidency.

What a country.

This right here is one of the reasons we have a big problem in this country.

Now you're praising Abba Kyari. You can't see that it was his actions that led us to being where we are today.

Of course things will be worse I'm Nigeria tomorrow than it is today if the current trajectory is continued upon.

Same mentality those praising Jonathan have.

Oh, Jonathan was so wonderful.

They can't see that if Jonathan had done the needful, Boko Haram would have been defeated, the military would have been stronger and armed bandits and Fulani terrorists won't be holding the country to ransome.

We shouldn't need to explain these things to y'all. Come on!

The junior officers and foot soldiers being killed don't agree with you. Only the top brass controlling the budget support Buhari so they can continue stealing. Afterall, insecurity is big business

We don’t need military rule again bt Leaders who know the job is beyond them should resign and let more competent people do the work. This is how it should be.

We should stop beating about the bush ask incompetent people to resign not asking military to take over. Problem now is there are incompetent people everywhere in government. From head to tail, in the senate and government agencies. The good thing is the president is the 1st to take the blame for this failure so he should spare us and do the needful.
Exactly, that Edward clark is a big dunce,a military that cannot solve insurgency wants to control a country ....to those semi- illiterate nairalanders supporting military take over,i say to you...you are big big FOOLS!!!
