There is a lot more to Salvation than simply saying one should "Accept Him today...", and Jesus Christ speaks on this at least beginning in verse 1 of John chapter 3.

According to Jesus Christ, salvation must go hand-in-hand with being born-again for successful admittance into the Kingdom of God. As Jesus Christ explained while speaking to Nicodemus in John 3, there is a process to becoming a part of His Kingdom.

A. Salvation:
* believe in Jesus Christ and accept He is who He says He is
* must eat of Jesus Christ's body and drink His blood in order to graced with eternal life in the Kingdom of God.
B. Born-again :
* be baptized in water(born of water)
* born of Spirit( In Ezekiel 36 vs 24 -28, we learn that God installs in us a new Spirit...th2 identity of which is not known. )

The highlighted says "COME" {Revelations 22:17} that's a verb indicating a form of action to be taken by the hearer.
So now that there are many false preachers and teachers deceiving billions {Matthew 24:11} do you think it is not necessary to PRESENT a particular group of people genuinely doing the work of the Lord? Act 1:8
Because God's word said that in the endtime people from all over the world will follow the Jews for salvation purpose {Zechariah 8:23} and Jesus said people need to IDENTIFY his spiritual brothers to gain salvation{Matthew 25:31-46} yet he explained that he wasn't talking about natural Jews {Matthew 12:46-49} and Apostle Paul substantiated that there is a difference between the natural Jews and the spiritual Jews! Romans 2:25-28
So it's obvious that the verb "COME" is asking honest hearted and sincere people to associate with a unique group of people having the same line of thought. John 17:20-23 compare to Micah 4:1-3
The question we need to ask ourselves now is:

WHO ARE THE SPIRITUAL JEWS or CHRIST'S BROTHERS?

See, if you accept Christ, you have accepted the totality of Him and His commandments. So, it's an automatic access or entry, because he is the only way. So accepting him means entering the way. We cant do it on our own.

All we need is accept Him and we qualified for the kingdom.
