My dear, everything is not spiritual. A case like this was handled recently. The victim was brought to humab rights radio abuja and ordinary president referred them to d best specialist hospital in kaduna. The rest is history.please contact brekete family on human rights radio abuja. This is ordinary president whatsapp number 07040408060. Please don't call him o.chat him up on whatsapp only and lay ur complain to him.if u call d number, no one will pick ii..if he can listen to you, d case will be settled. I know he will give u transport to come to abuja and the medical bills will be paid by him. Do that now. I nearly cried reading ur story.
. My dear, ordinary president is a busy man u can watch brekete family on youtube and see how he is helping nigerians. Forget this people advicing you to visit their churches. Are there no sick people in their churches? Why has their pastor not heal them all? I am a christian but everything is not spiritual. If u can get ordinary president on whatsapp and he get to hear ur story, I know he will invite you over to abuja and ur brothers will be well again. Just send a whatsapp to d message I sent to u earlier. U can also watch human right TV on startimes and see for ur self

Has your intelligence ever failed you?
Did you see me here all these years seeking for solution?
I went science way because I knew it's in the gene but then, I found that it's not the best because of the generations after and so I began to seek permanent solution.
Something must have triggered it because my mom's ancestors had no record of such.
So if it started along the line, something must have influenced it. This is why I'm out here looking for a fix. Not the kind of fix drugs do.
Something higher.

I'm intelligent my dear, but right now...I really do not know.

I can assure you that western science doesn't have an answer to everything. That's the truth.

Please seek answers where you can find them

Be wary of Churches so they don't compound your problems.

For the meantime, you can place both your brothers on the medications to help them until you find a lasting solution.

I wish I could recommend you to someone in Nigeria, but I don't know anyone

The people I know who definitely will be able to help are thousands of kilometers away in monasteries in the Himalayan mountains.

Learn and teach yourselves how to do yoga meditation. It will help.

The root cause of this issue has not been addressed. Someone has seriously erred in your lineage.

Find the root cause through prayer,
make atonement,
and your brothers will be healed.

I am from a family of three. I have two brothers. One older and the other younger than me so I'm the only girl in my family.

I grew up seeing my Mom mad.
By my teen age, I got admission into Nnamdi Azikiwe University alongside my elder brother who was to study Engineering. By the time I was in my finals, my brother was getting ready for IT. One day, his roommate sent for me, he said they couldn't sleep the night before because my brother was talking to himself. Before we knew what was happening, my brother was getting violent and so we took him home and he never got back to finish school.
I proceeded with my education and finished. Went for NYSC. While serving the nation, My Mom died. When I got home, she'd been buried.
But my brother was still mad.

I later got job, took my brother to a Psychiatric hospital and the doctor after examining him said he is Schizophrenic. He was asked to stay in the hospital.
I paid. He then stayed there for one month. When I came to visit him, he pleaded with me to take him home that he didn't like it there.

So I took him home. Every month, I buy drugs for him and he gets injected. He usually puts up a fight but with the help of my younger brother, neighbors and a certain nurse, he receives the injection, forcefully and against his will.
Often times, he pleads with me not to inject him, the very time I obliged him, he scattered things, didn't allow the neighborhood sleep, talked throughout some nights and wouldn't eat sometimes. He looked really sick then but with the injection, one will hardly know he's not normal.
I told him that I won't let him miss his injection ever again.

Now, on Monday, my younger brother woke up and was unusually quiet. He normally wakes up and begins to play music with his phone or he will turn to football channel and watch until I leave for work. But I didn't go to work on Monday and I noticed he was quiet, then I asked him why he's quiet. He didn't respond. After some hours, I asked my Dad if he feels he's okay, My Dad said that he wants to be quiet and that I should let him be.

Then, that night, around 4am, my brother began to talk. He was shouting and some of the things he said were not coherent. He talked out of point. I and my Dad, with my elder brother surrounded him and I couldn't help crying when my Dad was cautioning him to keep quiet and he refused.
Neighbours thought it was my elder brother's voice they'd heard that night but by the time they heard in the morning that it was my younger brother, they visited my Dad in the evening. By then, my brother was still talking and even burnt his clothes yesterday.
My Dad got a few guys to chain him because he was violent yesterday when I left the house.
I know the problem is spiritual. I have prayed, fasted for my elder brother and now this!
I'm so unhappy.

Can someone suggest a place I can take my two brothers to so they can be cured, please.
. Please just take them to a church called Godsdelight godspel assembly.aka Free indeed.right in udu local government area of Delta State, orhuworun.

Amen.

I really need genuine help.
I believe so much that this will stop in my generation because my Mom used to tell us then even when she was mad that we will be fine. I want my brothers to be fine.
Pls look for a good church, I mean Pentecostal. A Pastor or a spiritual person should be able to cast out that devil.
Where do you live?

Poster I have taken it upon myself to keep repeating this till you acknowledge you have heard me. Any doctor here will understand why the emphasis. People go to all manner of stupid places looking for pastors and prophets and herbalists to cure what your family is experiencing only to finally destroy any chances of full recovery.

Poster please go to a Federal Neuropsychiatrist hospital New Heaven Enugh. The earlier you go the better the prognosis. Please. You are in Onitsha, drive down to Federal Neuropsychiatrist Hospital New Heaven Enugu on Monday. Don't make the mistake of going with all these herbal and spiritual solutions.

These are very stupid ideas. That many people are saying it's spiritual doesn't make it true. A lot of people are ignorant and daft! I am pleading with you. That young man is NOT under any attack. Your family is NOT under any curse or attack. Just like diabetics run in some families, this condition is also familial. Please start early to save that young man.

Consultant Neuropsychiatrists will manage this case very well and your brother will be whatever he wants to be so long as he takes his medications. The earlier you commence treatment the better the management.

Please in God's name DO NOT patronize all these prophets, pastors, herbal nonsense. This is a normal case. It's familial. Positive history from your mother's side. It is NOT a curse. It is NOT an attack.

It is a purely medical condition.

Sorry to hear about your brothers. This is really disturbing.
The situation may need to be traced back to the roots and treated spiritually.

This calls to mind something that happened sometime back from my area.
A long time ago, around the 1940s/50s one man went and stole from the diety shrine in my town. He denied stealing the goat. He swore in front of the diety that it was not him.
Nothing happened to him afterwards and everyone forgot about it but over the years as his kids started growing up into their adult years, they all started becoming mad one-by-one.
I mean from that time till date anybody from that man's lineage whether his direct son/daughter or their spouse and children, they become mad or die mysteriously.

This is not specific to your situation but I am just trying to highlight that these things often have a spiritual undertone coming from unknown circumstances of the past that have been carried over.

I will advise that while seeking for solution in modern clinical setting it might be helpful to also seek spiritual support to help your brothers. This appears to be a spiritual situation that requires spiritual solution.
I hope they get better and may God bless you and give your family the strength to overcome this situation.
All the best.

It's like you want your brothers to go COMPLETELY MAD abi??

You already have proof that medications work to an extent on your younger brother abi? Which other solution do you seek alert from what works already??!

The moment you carry that man into a spiritual home is the moment his madness will go into gear 4.

And deep down inside you, you already know the source of the problem. IT IS HEREDITARY! A.K.A in your blood.

Hello!! You mean to say you went through school and the words 'genetics' never sunk into your head?!

....

You see religion and superstition is really killing African growth. How can a fully grown university educated man seek health solutions from any other place outside a health facility??

And before u start quoting me, just know I also have a cousin who is mentally unstable and suffers from schizophrenia too.

My neighbor had a burst vein in his head from High BP complications and his illiterate mom rushed him to a spiritual home where he went into coma during their spiritual razzmatazz.

Before her head correct it's too late. Nigga was DOA by the time they got to the hospital.

In fact, I believe any religious home that takes on the role of a healthcare provider should be sued and probably even shut down.

...

Here is how the scientific process works:

- You encounter a problem.
- You make guesses/assumptions to what the solution could be & ask questions to the cause of the prob.
- You make guesses using the answers you got. Called a hypothesis. This guess should be something testable. Meaning anyone can replicate the tests.
- Make a prediction from the answers you get
- Now you run some tests on that hypothesis (usually trial and errors while noting what works)
- You come up with more hypothesis
- You know what works to an extent (in your case, drugs) which leads you to making a clearer prediction.

- you test again till you come up with a theory of how to go about such issues in future...

....

Now, over the thousands of years mankind and modern humans have literally done almost all these testing for us and we only have to improve on it. But NO! Not an African man.

An African man will encounter a problem and instead of following the scientific step, he will immediately say to himself, "I need to talk to God about this" or worse, "it looks spiritual. I can't do anything about it if God doesn't do anything about it"

... And just in that moment, all the creative ideas and potential discoveries that could have been made will be cut short!

.....

You see, when we cry over the dangers of superstition in Africa and how it is underdeveloping us Christians and other religious folks will rather put the devil on you by calling Atheist or Apethists (people who don't care about deities) devil worshipers than see reasons with us.

I mean, just imagine what an adult who passed through the 4 walls of a classroom is saying. It's deeper than just getting school knowledge and I don't blame anyone because it is a result of hundreds of years of torture and slavery by the white people who brought on this scam called religion to us

(Don't mistake religion for spirituality or spiritism)

Africans pls plssss stop bowing to the ducking skies and learn to use your heads

The damaging effects of religion is not just found in our healthcare system. It's everywhere. Most especially in our minds. Slavery ducked us up real good. But then we keep ducking ourselves everyday by choosing to remain in the slavery

It's like what Kanye West said in an interview on TMZ that went viral. "400 years of slavery seemed like a choice"

Sorry I'm coming off as harsh but pls I beg you in the name of anything you believe in, DO NOT STEP ONE FOOT into ANY religious home. Well, except you want to dump your bro there for the worse.

And the funny thing is this:

When you let a super-religious person in on the TRUTH about their bullshit they'll always go through these stages:

1. Denial or Ridicule (they deny it or Ridicule it/you)

2. Rejection [they reject it entirely and will become violent towards the source of the information (you) ]

3. Acceptance (they finally begin to see reason)

Which explains why I don't like having a religious convo with anyone. I just listen and nod or zone you off.

And the reason is because I hate being the bearer of bad news. And I hate being at the receiving end of the 3 stages of accepting the truth I listed above.

It's also one of the reasons why the bearer of bad news in the olden days were usually put to death by the King.

Anyone who loses a loved one also passes through those 3 stages before accepting the truth.

First, you ridicule the info.
Then you react violent to oppose it.
Later, acceptance dwells in.

It also explains why most superstitious folks HATE atheist (or rather dispise the people/persons who first told them God don't exist)

And another reason is because it goes against everything you've ever known from birth. In other words, the person is saying you're stewpid.

And no one likes being stewpid

[b]You have said it all. Op since medicine worked for your elder brother, then it will likely work for your younger brother.
Note that mental illness especially schizophrenia, bipolar disorder etc is a combination of both genetic and environmental factors. Men tend to show symptoms earlier than women however early detection is key to adequate management.
You and your kids if you have or will have any in the future are also at risk of developing mental illness if truly the one in your family is genetic.
I'm not saying spiritual factor may not play a role, however since medicine has worked for your elder brother then allow no hustler that calls himself a pastor or native healer to waste your time and money as regards to your younger brother.

We do not choose our family, neither did our family chose us. Regret not and take your brother to a psychiatric home. Mental illness is just like any other chronic illness like hypertension, diabetes etc, they could be managed but not entirely cured.

I'm feeling the drastic action I should take should involve fixing the root cause rather than preventing them from birthing.

I wish there's someone that can see into the past and tell me how it all began, then I'll know where to channel my energy to.
If someone placed the curse, then we can appeal.

You will really need to talk heart to heart with the elders of your mom's family. I mean the oldest ones. They will know the secrets in your family.

Sorry that your family is going through this.
Like you have rightly identify, your brother is suffering from schizophrenia; it is a mental disorder characterized by alteration in perceptions, emotions, thought, or consciousness.
Although schizophrenia runs in families, the etiology of the disorder is complex and not well understood. It has been established that genetics play a role in the development of schizophrenia. If one twin develops schizophrenia, the likelihood of the other also succumbing is almost 50 percent if the twins are identical, but only 14 percent if the twins are fraternal.
If one parent has schizophrenia, the risk of the child developing the disease is 13 percent. If, however, both parents have schizophrenia, the risk jumps to almost 50 percent.
So, your problem is not spiritual one, but rather psychological.
Genetics does not fully account for the onset and severity of schizophrenia, there must be other factors at work. The rate of schizophrenia tends to be similar across cultures, suggesting that cultural influences play relatively minor role. However, being born or raised in an urban area approximately doubles the risk of developing schizophrenia later in Life. Some psychologists have theorized that urban environments are more stressful and that the increased stress can trigger the onset of the disorder. You can deduce this from the case of your mum when she was pregnant, and that of your brother while he studying. The stress level, like I've said before, can trigger the onset of the disorder.
The reason why I am taking time to write all this is to make you see that it is not a spiritual problem. Now that it's early, take your brother to a clinical psychologist, allow them to do the needful and your brother's condition will be managed properly.
Mental issues are mostly perceived to be spiritual problems in this part of the world, because mental health awareness has not been created. So, some pastors, prophets and what have you, thrive on this ignorant and exploit innocent people, but the problem remains the same.
Therefore, please, do not be a victim.

Imagine, your mom went mad, now ur two brother's also are about to get mad.... This is beyond human imagination. Someone is using spiritual force to deal with ur family or perhaps there might be some kind of Deity in ur father's or mother's house tormenting u people bcus u failed to worship it....
Get ur brother's to a church but b careful the kind of church u take them to... God will help you.

This is highly spiritual.... talk to ur dad. He might know the cause and if he doesn't, don't sit back and watch..... take all possible measures on ur brother's for them to be okay.

@Mrskillz1

I am a veteran. I am a person who has fought a lot of spiritual battles in life. I know a lot because I have seen a lot in battles spiritually and physically.

Reading your story I wept because I know what you are going through. It seem like you are the only one fighting this battle in your family. There just too many things I did like to tell you but I just cannot type them because I am busy.

Mental illness is a very serious problem when it is rooted spiritually and this your family problem is heavily rooted by covernant with water spirit (Marine kingdom)

Another thing I must say it that Your father failed completely because he never fought hard to root out the cause of the problem. Many problem like this can easily be tackle when there is finance but your father didnt take it harder to find out why the ruling powers of darkness afflicted your mother with madness.

There are many pastors who can prophesy but most of them can not see deeper but they can only tell you the surface of the problem but not the root. If truly your mother is an ogbaje, then she must have had a covernat with the marine kingdom that is one reason your family is being afflicted my the marine kings or goddess of the water.

There are possibility that these might be the reasons to the problem of your family: Since your father and mother failed to deal with the root caused it has become a Generation curse and I must likely tell you and your brothers not to have children yet. ( pray and run for your life so that it will not enter the life of your offspring)

IF YOUR MOTHER IS AN OGBAJE
>She may likely has broken marine rules by getting married or falling in love.

>She may likely has offended the marine kingdom

<She may likely has spiritual husband with a marine gods/kings

° There may be one or two extended family witches that is afflicting your family by projecting this mental illness

THE SOLUTION

1) I urgently urge You and your brothers should wake up at 12:00AM or 1:00 AM, pray radically and focused on marine kingdom and witch-craft covens in your family. Remember that if you disturb the enemies with prayers, be ready for attack

2) Look for a genuine Celestial church because Celestial church are very, very good in breaking evil covenant

3) There are also other heavily annoited deliverance ministers of God who can deal with this problem: eg, T.B Joshua, Joshua Iginla, Anslem Arutere and many more, but these men of God are hard to come in contact with in person

So my advice is that, go for my number 1 & 2 solution. A genuine Celestial Church is easier and can easily break any covenant and curse of madness in your family

Believe what I say because it is the truth. I have dodge many sword and bullet from the kingdom of darkness and I know what I am talking about.

To know the root cause of this problem I can also give you prophetic recommendation only if you want.

Mrskillz1:

I watched him on youtube those nights that I did midnight prayer for my brother.

How do I book appointment to see him?
Does he have a branch in Anambra?

Have you asked your father to tell you what the problem is?

Before you begin to spend your money on pastors...try to go into your family background to know the root...

Your father will be in a better position to tell you the real solution to the problem.

Your mother got mad and all the male children did too..

You should ask your father to open up. He has something he's not telling you.

I am sorry if I am too sentimental... You can as well decide to wave this off, if you are very convinced that your father knows nothing.

Please go to Pinnacle Medical Services

They are a bit expensive but they are good. Mental Health illnesses can be hereditary and need professional care as you also keep praying.

There's a strong prophet of God I know that can be of help to your family. I think it's a spiritual problem. He has a church in Awka, Aguleri and Asaba. If you need his number on me

Thank you. Well informed people shouldn't just scroll and pass through this topic. The ignorance spewed all over this thread is nauseating.

Thank you and God bless you. Keep up dispelling all these nonsense of spiritual and curse.

Poster. It is medical condition that is manageable. You don't want to know how many professionals you see everyday going about their normal live but who are on drugs for this condition. Take your brother to Fed Neuropsychiatrist New Haven Enugu

AwkaFinest:

I have asked questions.
My mom became mad as she got pregnant with my younger brother.
By then, my Dad said he took her to several places and was told that it was ogbanje. My mom is very beautiful and hardworking.
Her family joined in the solution.
She became okay after she put to bed.
Then they decided not to have more kids.
My mom's shop is in main market onitsha, after a few years, the madness returned and her shop was closed down. By then, we had grown a little and so everyone concentrated on us, giving us a life.
I remember that my mom leaves house every morning and will trek to main market and hang around there and return by evening.
This she did daily.
She was not violent. She was usually by herself.
Her brothers usually came to see her.
My Dad took care of her grooming.
Until few years back when she suddenly stopped going to market and stayed indoors for like a week.
Then one night, my Dad said she called him as they were sleeping and said to him that we will be fine.
Then they slept off and she didn't wake up in the morning.

The bee that stings still has it's hive in the tree.

Your problem is deeply spiritual and sorry but most of these pastors won't be able to solve it for you. You are your own solution if you would be willing to bear the pain and responsibility.

The only way out is to stand in the gap for your family and generation to come...

Separate yourself for a period... Go on a fast, consecrate yourself for say 7 days and pray with the books of Isaiah and psalms.

Call on the earth and the spirits that dwell within it. Rebuke the spirit of madness by denouncing all ties that it has over you and your brothers.

Remind the earth with the words of power and prayer in Isaiah that you and your siblings are not aware of any covenant or curse and as such by the unction of grace provided by the blood of Jesus, you are not partakers of that curse or covenant.

Speak loud and strong. Curse any man or woman or spirit or man convulated as spirit that might be the vessel that is being used. Suffer no one to live.

Speak life, health and soundness of mind into your brothers, yourself and your generations to come.

Ask God to through the words in psalms to provide a protective covering over you guys and all that concerns you all. Speak his peace into your life and those of your brothers.

Praise him for answered prayers.

Above all watch and pray. Listen to hear him direct you on what to do and when such comes, follow through judiciously.

God be with you.

I would be praying with you.

Your siblings are healed in the name of Jesus.
