Nigeria Police can fear. Look at how they amassed disused tyres like mad people. They should just engage vigilante groups to protect them.

Kingdemu:
Why I don't caution people of the South East against following the path of the North East is because there is no point trying to do that to someone who is determined, who fails to reason beyond his euphoria.

Every time I read some of their comments, I remember how the North East started. They are following the same pattern, as if they borrowed the template. When it started in the NE and security agencies were being targeted for attacks, some people applauded them because of their perception of the security agencies as oppressors of the common people.

Then it went on to eliminating members of the society who were suspected to be informing the authorities about the group. When all those were eliminated, they turned on the whole society and that was when people realised that what they were applauding was actually coming for them, but that was coming a little too late.

Now the sequence is repeating itself in the South East, but I have seen those who attempt to caution them being shouted down with insults. Oh ignorance I say.

Yesterday, when 'unknown gun men' reportedly killed some members of a vigilante group, and people were asking the rationality behind killing the same Igbos whose liberation they claim to be championing, the response was that they were cleaning the filth among them who were working with the gov't against the common interest.

Right now in their own imagination, they think it is impossible for the now friendly 'unknown gun men' to turn their guns against the population, the same way some people of the North East never believed those who were struggling to establish a 'just and fair' society could turn against them, but here we are.

So since the South East has refused to learn from the mistakes of the North East, I say welcome.

One question have you seen Igbos start a fight in Nigeria, kindly give me one instance.

You didn't have a problem with Igbos shouting Police Brutality as well as State forces siding Fulani Herdsmen killings in the states right?,
Anyway... We aren't known for violence, but we aren't scared. You didn't bother to write to your people who are IDP camps in Cotonue, but your love for the East surpassed that of your people, hypocrites.

When ESN came out, if truly the state is sincere they would have been happy to see a group of people fighting against those terrorizing her citizens, but rather the state went after the people's security and now you're crying more than the bereaved. My parents and brothers are all based in the East, they aren't complaining... Proffer solutions to tons of Western problems and leave East out of your lips.

Blocking roads & hiding inside d station is not a good strategy they can burn U all inside d station with rpg or petrol bombs....it is better some men watch d station from d tallest buildings away or mount a sandbags far way from d station.
Abeg make i close mouth, haw much them go pay me self.
Thank u bro, it baffles me when I see them using all these dumb stupid tactics.....those barricades are for civilians, God knows if those guys shows is to drive through it or simply walk to the station shooting.
Common sense detects u use concrete barricades in a zig zag manner or sand bags to provide cover, which slows down attack and buys time for men on ground to gear up and enter defensive positions....rather u have this, gosh....how are do the even train the police self..

The Rivers State police command has blocked entrances to its stations over the rising case of insecurity and attacks on its facilities in the state, IgbereTV has learned.

This follows the attacks on three police formations in the state during the weekend resulting in the death of at least seven police officers.

According to PortCity, the command took protective measures by blocking the roads leading to their stations with hopes to stop the stations from being attacked by unknown gunmen.

This has naturally caused traffic buildup in certain parts of the state, especially the Elekahia-Stadium axis of Port Harcourt.

Another axis experiencing huge traffic due to the blocking of the access road is the Rumuokoro-Rukpoku access road.

The command had on Saturday confirmed the killing of seven of its personnel by the rampaging unknown gunmen, promising to arrest perpetrators of the crime.

Is this the solution.

Simple strategy to overcome all this fear fear.
But the PRO is not picking my call for the formation he can use.

Nigeria police should deployed every personnel, intelligence and resources they have to crush this uGM once and for all.

Army and DSS should also assist them. They need a joint task force (JTF) to flush those uGM.

Every hand is needed to crush them. Policemen cannot be dying like chicken. It is not good. They are human being. They also have families.

The FG should embrace dialogue with different aggrieved groups. Fire for fire will not solve the problems we are faced with. Some of the issues are:

1. Killings by Fulani herdsmen without any arrest of those involved. Rather they are enjoying protection by the same FG who are supposed to protect lives and properties.

2. Appointments are too sidelined. Over 90% of juicy positions are given to the northerners especially Muslims.

3. The complete neglect of the Igbos in Nigeria both in appointments and federal projects.

4. The high rate of unemployment is worrisome. And the FG is doing nothing about it.

5. The fight against Boko Haram is politicized. They should put a non Muslim as service Chiefs if they want to end that fight.

6. The corruption is this government is about the worse in the history of Nigeria. And they are doing nothing about it.

7. The need to restructure to reflect true federalism.

And lots more. If these issues are addressed, crime rate will definitely reduce. But our leaders don't care. They are just after their pockets.

You're just blabbing like an idiot. You wasted your time saying rubbish because the North and East are fighting different agendas. Is IPOB an Islamic org?? By the way why are you so concerned abt the East turning to NE? since wen did it become your biz? Fool! What did you say when your force men were killing our people extrajudicially? You think we'll keep quiet and the idiots will continue using us as target practice?
It's time to give them a dose of their own medicines and by the time we're done with them, we'll switch over to airforce. They must explain with their lives why they bombed orlu. Bastards!

The real meaning is: Unknown GovernMen.

From a revelation by one of the arrested bandits - "we get riffles from SSS and share ransome". So it is the Government that sponsors these men.
