Is this one making sense now? Lagos that is already congested with vehicle you want to add another 500 again. What happened to alternative sources of transportation?

This is what is obtainable in Europe.Lagos sets the pace in Nigeria, others follow.

More ways to swindle our money

More ways to create traffic

More ways to make Lagosians inconvenient

More ways to make Lagos a dumping ground

Another way to get rid of bikes off our streets, which is a hope in times of desperate needs, especially for the average Lagosians

Okada is reliable because it bypasses the heavy gridlock and bad roads characterizing Lagos.
Did u say this rubbish when kano, Anambra, Abuja etc ban okada? Strange faces keep coming into Lagos every day and u expect Lagos govt to do nothing abi
Re: Lagos To Roll Out 500 Last-mile Buses As Alternatives To Okada by pacespot(m): 5:04pm On May 10, 2021
Lagos needs to develop its Intercity roads to link different streets and neighborhoods before all this improvised transportation service can work. Okada is still the preferred option for most people in that congested city. The Lagos town planning needs a redraft, at least in the mainland. They also need more overhead bridges to ease traffic during busy hours.

Lagos state govt should be thinking of how to make all the road accessible first before introducing all these mini buses.
There are some places those buses can't ply in lagos.
These government is always in the business of putting the cart before the horse!

You can move the okadas to your state let them be riding it there. Most of you are not even exposed. Naija condition has made you unable to appreciate good things.

Good things indeed? Is it the terrible inner roads that these fragile looking buses would ply? We already have Scrum buses in Lagos, how many of them ply the last mile? Government and it's local government ought to fix the inner roads first before even embarking on these! It's a shame government keeps putting the cart before the ox!

Lagos state government goofed big time by this action. Okada would have been a better and decent alternative considering the facts that lots of internal and street roads are in deplorable condition....Lagos could buy Okadas and engage drivers just like the mile to go small buses.....even the price of one of those buses could buy two to three Okadas if am right anyway and okada maintenance is far cheaper and movement more faster.....

Lagos govt didn’t ban okada on those roads. Only on highways, expressway and major bridges.

Smart move.

Okada's have become security risk in the south. The hausas have taken over the business, knowing all the streets, cranny of our communities, knowing who lives where and generally spying on all our activities.

We should look beyond the surface. This is a necessary move

You’re the only one here seeing what I’ve been seeing.

Re: Lagos To Roll Out 500 Last-mile Buses As Alternatives To Okada by mech2021(m): 5:48pm On May 10, 2021
For you to get the right solution to any problem, you need to go down and understand the problem better, and that's one thing government lacks at all level in Nigeria, getting through difficult & tight areas is not the only reason people prefer okada, but because its fast and easy to get in and down, this is a good ideal from lsg, but i expect this bus to have openable 4 doors including the front doors making six, by this, people wont have to wait for each other to get down when they reach destinations and its also easy for people to get in, it shoukd also be equipped with a functional central lock that can only be open from driver unless in case of emergency so driver will only open doors and by doing this, people wont run away with his money.
