Very very few employers ask for O level results. What’s important is your most recent degree, you don’t have any reason to be worried.

Ever since I entered the university and now in my 400L currently doing my 6 months I.T in preparation for my final year (500L) I haven't gone through my qualifications intently until this morning.

Here is a problem I discovered, I made my way to the university with a 2 sittings 2014 O'level certificates in WAEC and NECO because I made a D7 in English in WAEC which is a compulsory credit subject required for admission I had to use my NECO result where I made C5 in English to back it up for a 2 sittings result though I recall they ended up using only my NECO for the O'level certificate screening that time.

Now I am concerned if this might be a problem when I graduate and decide applying for a top job. My CGPA currently is quite impressive but right now I am afraid my O'level might not be good enough due to the D7 I made in English in WAEC.

Please I need good words of advice from the experienced ones amongst us here.
Thank you

Go and write another one, preferably WAEC.

Some jobs and local scholarships require good grade in one sitting in o'level.

Most organizations won't even ask for your O levels.

Your highest qualification is what is needed since it is generally agreed that you can't proceed to the university without the o level.

Except you are going for an internship tho

Your degree is the main thing, most employers will not bother whether it's a seating or two. If you come out with first class or 2.1 you go still be hot cake. Only say bad govt don spoil Naija. I pray God sees you through your course.

If you can do another WASSCE, fine, if not, forget it, everything depends on God's favour.

if this is true then bro you have scared the hell out of me I swear, I thought first class student don't have problem, I was wrong, I know someone with a third class degree working in in CBN he got the job recently
a 3rd class degree holder is qualified to work anywhere so far u meet d requirements... D problem now is that corruption has eaten deep into every organisation in Nigeria.. For example d NYSC program is so corrupt that d children of the so called elites in the society get juicy PPA and states while others scrabble for teaching jobs even if they didn't study any educational related course while in sch... That's d same problem we encounter in d labour market

have you not heard a president use NEPA bill as result.
On a serious note, start investing into the digital world before you graduate, so you can even become an employer instead of carrying CVs looking for a job after graduating. Goodluck

On a Serious note,

No Employer of Labour will hire you based on your O-Level, Just make sure you Graduate with a 2.1
Fortify your Degree with Professional Certifications especially related to your field (If any)

Better still, Invest in acquiring a digital skill. It might come in handy when Job opportunities are not forthcoming.

God Bless your hussle

Most employers only look at your first degree and NYSC discharge certificate. But some ask for olevel especially when they need to verify age. In fact, I've experienced those that insist on primary school cert.

Having two sittings is okay but for the sake of unforeseen circumstances, you can go ahead and register for WAEC private January or December exam and have your result in one sitting.
And his year of graduation and WAEC will be same 2022 all because he is looking for one sitting. Bush cockroach!
