Soldiers always look down on police, and that is uncivil of them.
many police, even many civilians are stronger than some soldiers.
That their camo somehow manipulates our brain to believe that someone wearing it is powerful, this lowers opponents morale and instils fear.
You are very correct. In a sane clime, when you see a police officer or a soldier, there is this aura of calmness and professionalism in their action. But here in Nigeria, they always show they are more powerful than their host. I witnessed a drama in a banking hall when two uniform soldiers came in and went straight to the cashier ignoring the queue, a woman came out of the queue and politely told them to queue, one of the soldiers quickly apologised and seek for permission while the other challenged his fellow friend and wanted to flog the woman. The whole banking hall pounced on this soldier infact you need to see the look in his face. It was shameful and you could see the hatred the society already have for some (not all )uniform men in Nigeria.

True. We all no d character of police. But that isn't d issue. D issue is why do soldiers always behave like cowards? Why does a soldier need to call for reinforcement becos he was slapped by a policeman? Can't he slap his own slap?
well i also blame that lazy soldier

Why didn't he just slap the policeman back and deal with the circumstances around it by himself.

A soldier should be a soldier and not some wolf that can't survive without its pack.

It's unfortunate that a good number of Nigerian soldiers may not stand tall without their guns.
so with the police and his gang by his side, the soldie ,just one soldier should slap back the police abi ?
The soldier did the right thing by bringing his own squad before replying the slap.

shocked

This is all shades of wrong.
The policeman was wrong to slap the soldier and the soldier was wrong to allow the policeman to slap him.

It was wrong for the soldier to call his colleagues for back up and also wrong for the police and soldiers to engage in a fight.
It was wrong for motorists to run away rather than witness the fight and it is wrong that we now have to comment without an eye witness account.

This is wrong.
It is also wrong for the policeman not to call his peers too as backup... Kapish?

Discipline and Endurance are necessary values in military .
Most Soldiers need psychological therapy.
They need to overcome pride and arrogance
