Buhari is a blessing to the South. His clannishness and inability to provide sensible leadership will push the South to self-discovery.

Our governors are not politically matured enough for State Police. Let them not compound our problems please. How will they even fund the state police sef? Most of these states are broke ass.

Most states buy vehicles and equipment for the Police in the states. When last did the FG buy vehicles for the Police?

Any state that can't police itself should employ volunteer hunters to police the state.

Majority carries the vote.

Stop this unproductive milking arrangement.

Nigeria has so much potential to make its citizens rich but the structure of government and mediocrity has been the bane of development.

A state like Zamfara that has gold, how much does govt earn from its gold ? Nothing ! Why ?? Because they are waiting for oil and gas money from South South and East every month.

Kogi state is the most blessed state with mineral deposits in Nigeria and most people have never heard that, why ? They are waiting for FAAC every month end.

The tiles that is used all-over Nigeria to tile your houses, do you know it is produced in Kogi state where there is abundant mineral for Tiles products ?

Ebonyi state has abundant mineral deposits. There is no state in Nigeria that doesn't have massive mineral deposits but private individuals will bribe official to siphon such wealth into few pockets.

Okay, look at Agriculture, most Nigerians cannot go to farms again, why ? Herdsmen. Just imagine if everybody is a farmer, if every empty piece of land around your house is used for cropping, will the price of one custard bucket of Garri be N1,200 ? Ordinary Garri, I heard the cigarette cup is N130. This is crazy.

This government lacks sincerity and a sense of responsibility. Nothing will happen to all the agitation.

It is dangerous to make states control their police. Our Governors are self centered and they will turn the police to their personal use and to witch Hunt their political opponents. Police can be restructured with the control still maintained by the FG.

You can't trust these Governors. They are so egoistic. See what they are doing with the Judiciary and what have they achieved with the Amotekun that they were screaming as if it's the best thing that happened after sliced bread.

The crisis emanates from the belief by most herdsmen that they are free to enter any farm, eat up the crops and rape or kill any one raising objections. Nobody or society can accept that. Simply put herders have constitute nuisance to the social economic development of this country.

state policing will create jobs but a lot of these governors are owing workers, how will they fund a professional police department.
Re: Governors Seeking State Police, Restructuring Now 23 by reiddecuti: 7:42am On May 18, 2021
No going back on this quest on restructuring.

One fool can't be in Abuja detecting what happens in other States.

Even INEC need to be unbundled to be controlled by LG. This can at least make it impossible to right election becos 1 man don't have absolute control again.

Don't have much to say. Check my sig 4 more.

You are wrong, the first time was 21 years ago (2000). Spearheaded by Ahmed Bola Tinubu, the then governor of Lagos state.
