I am using this medium to welcome Chidinma Ekile and Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo to the family of God in Christ Jesus.

I would like to say that the decision you have taken is the best decision and the most important decision to take on this terrestrial ball.

Never allow anyone to deceive you, it is not only about vanities of life but the consciousness that you have a relationship with the creator of Heaven and Earth through our Lord Jesus Christ.

After surrendering your life openly to Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior, there are some things you should know. Here are about ten things to know:

1. Seek the face of the Almighty God on the Church you should attend. Don't just go to any Church anyhow, you could be trapped into problem, let God lead you to where his spirit dwells. It is very important. You may say that you are already attending your own Church. It doesn't stop you from seeking the face of God, infact, it wil help you to know more about your present Church and also to know if you are in the right Church or not

2. As I have said earlier, your relationship with God Almighty through our Lord Jesus Christ is more important than your service, worship or any other thing you are doing for God.
Your relationship with God will determine how far you will go in your Christian Journey.

3. You must I repeat, you must observe what it is called "Quiet Time" everyday. It is a time where you worship God, give thanks to God, ask for forgiveness and pray everyday of your life. You speak to God through prayer and God speaks back to you. It is a time to open your Bible, if you have already purchased one and start reading systematically. You don't just read the Bible, you have to start meditating and memorizing Bible verses.
You can get some additional Bible study aids like Daily devotional booklet to assist you in meditating on the scripture. This is an anchor that will enable you to sail through the storms of life or challenges of life.

4. Christianity is not Bread and Butter. Jesus is real. The devil is also real. It is a WAR. War has been declared against you in the spiritual realm. Your number one enemy, the devil, has written the word " WANTED'' on your forehead. The devil is out like a roaring lion desperately looking for you to deny Christ or backslide.
Temptation must come. The devil will always tempt you or entice you with the goody goody of the vanities of life. Beauty is in vain. Riches are so deceptive. Money is not everything in life. Somethings are better than money. Hammer Godly Character into your spirit by force.
Work hard, learn how to say sorry. Greet people. Love those who hate you but be wise. Forgive people. People will always hurt you. Forgive them. Keep secrets. Don't allow everyone to know everything about you.

Never go back to your vomit because when the unclean spirit leaves a place, the unclean spirit dwells in dry ground until you backslide, the spirit will now come back with seven more powerful demons to occupy the place, the end of the person will be worst than the beginning.
It is better not to know Jesus than to know Jesus and backslide. It will be worst. This shall not be your portion in Jesus name.

I believe the two of you have seen it all in the world of seculiar music, you will find it difficult to backslide.

1 Peter 5:8 " Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about seeking whom he may devour."

5. Inside the Church are various kinds of people disguising as true Children of God but they are agents of darkness on assignment to bring you down. There are wolves in sheep's clothing. Watch and pray. Be careful!
Be wise as serpent and harmless as dove.

One thing you can do is to focus on your God given assignment, worshipping God, releasing inspirational Godly Gospel music that will change.your world. I can assure you that if you can wait on God and tarry in his presence, God will give you just one inspirational song that will change your world.

6. Be a lover of Christians books and literature.
Seek for knowledge by listening to messages and great testimonies from great men of God like Pastor E.A Adeboye, Dr.Olukoya, Pastor Kumuyi, Bishop Oyedepo, Bishop Wale Oke, Apostle Suleman, Apostle Selman and so on.
You can buy their books or watch them on YouTube for your spiritual edification.

7. Spiritual growth is a must. After your new birth experience in Christ Jesus, you must seek for the Baptism or the experience of the Holy ghost fire baptism with the evidence of speaking in tongues. This will make you a terror to the kingdom of darkness and the experience will usher you to higher level of hearing from God and receiving spiritual information concerning your life from the Almighty God.

8. You must recognize the best way God speaks to you, it could be through inner witness, it could be through night dreams, it could be through prophetic utterances from men of God after listening to their messages.
Your progress in life begins when you begin to master how God speaks to you.
Learn how to listen. God is still speaking.

9. Fasting is one of the way of self denial. Fasting must not be neglected, it is a spiritual exercise you must do at least once in a week for your spiritual revival.

10. Being a Christian does not exempt you from the problems and challenges of life. It gives you the upper hand to overcome the problem because you are now in the kingdom of light.

Many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivereth them out of them all. Psalm 34:19.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you through out your Christian Journey on this terrestrial ball.
