I just saw a close tv footage which shows that pepe did not touch alves but he feigned injury and deceived the pathetic referee who is touted as the worst referee in German Bundesliga. Porto's problem is that they always sell their best players. In 2009 they got to the CL q/finals when they had Lisandro Lopez, Lucho Gonzalez, Aly Cissokho, Raul Meireles. They narrowly lost to Man Utd after playing a 2-2 draw at Old Trafford. It took a Puskas Award winning goal from Ronaldo for Man Utd to beat them 1-0 at the Dragao.
Winning the CL with Porto is not much of a feat as people often see it, considering the players Porto had at time.

It is not surprising that barca fans will never see anything good in mourinho just because they don't like him. He has nothing to prove anymore and he just needs to be successful in Spain and maybe germany to crown it all but how many coaches in the world has moved around like him and yet still successful. Riikard left Barcelona and that was the end of his career, even johan cruyf will be very scared to coach any team aside Ajax and Barcelona. The whole world is waiting for pep to repeat his success with Barcelona else where even with another club in the same la liga.

Simple giving of credit to whom it is due and we are hearing excuses like that Porto team has been together for a long time and he was successful with inter because of the huge investment. A logic that has no proof and can be quickly thrown away into the lagoon. Afterall man city has been spending huge sums of money and many clubs do have a stable squad but no success. He is a good coach and got his success for that same reason period, any one suggesting anything else should be accused of bad belle.

I would not call him the best but attributing his success to the reasons stated above is very much in bad taste. How many coaches in the world has been successful with two clubs or in two leagues. I guess if pep leaves barca and fails elsewhere we will all conclude that he is not a good coach aside coaching a good team like barca?. I guess riikard is not a good coach as well because in the past three years, he has been silent after being disgraced out of turkey.
