The Anioma Igbos did not have the population, Anioma Igbos did not have the resources and they did not have the power to take on nigeria at the time.

Our Anioma Igbo brothers led by Nzeogwu was counting on the support of their big brother South Easterner Igbos, but you see they did not inform their big brother that they were planing a coup. When the coup failed and went bad the South Eastern Igbos came to defend and support them and their Yoruba supporters whose plan was to execute the coup and Igbos paid heavily for coming to the aid of their brothers who are today turning against them.
