fergie001: The United States should lead by example and stop being a chi chi dodo. The truth remains that Russia and her allies will always follow the footprint of the U.S and allies and rob it on their faces when they cry foul. Media propaganda or twisting the narratives does not exculpate them from any shred of blame. They are also as guilty as sin. The world police and her allies should lead by example and stop their double standard. This does not in any way support what the actions of the Belarusian govt. What is bad is bad, even if others are doing it without facing the attendant consequences. 1 Like |

JooEeL: Actually, it is YOUR brain that does not work. We like the name Nigeria. That is why we keep it. It's got a nice ring to it. There's something regal about the name. If our country had been named ''Cocoa Coast'', or 'Palm Oil Coast'', or ''Crude Oil Coast'', we would have changed it long ago. We will not change the name of the country merely because 'white people' gave it the name. So use YOUR brain - leave ''black people'' alone, stop hating your black skin, which is a blessing from God, who splashed your skin with Melanin to protect you from the hot African sun; get rid of your racial hangups and racial inferiority complex, and contribute something meaningful to NIGERIAN society. |

ibedun: Exactly! It disgusts and extremely worries me how Nigerians look up to the U.S and the West in reverence. They definitely aren't as 'good' as most have been brainwashed to believe. They certainly aren't our friends. I wouldn't even consider them allies... As long as it isn't their self-interest, they don't give a single shit about Nigeria and Nigerians. Nigeria as a country is just a tiny and weak empty vessel, basically irrelevant on the international scene. 2 Likes |

IBvoss: You are ignorant. Nigeria is projected to become the word's 3rd most populous nation on Earth after India and China by 2050. That is MAJOR. THAT ALONE makes Nigeria a world power in the making. https://www.worldometers.info/population/most-populous-countries/ And before you shout ''population means nothing'', OH YES IT DOES. Population means MARKET. Nigeria will become a world class MAGNET for world investors in coming years. Every major company in Earth today is looking at Nigeria either as a present, or future investment prospect and target. Doing otherwise will be complacent, economic folly. Africa's largest economy and 3rd most populous nation on Earth? That is game-hanging, and will lead to greater political AND cultural influence by Nigeria, and a place on the 'G8', and very likely a UN Security Council seat. International observers are well aware of the importance of NIGERIA, whatever you may think or not think. |

MansoryMX: It might interest you to know that in 2013, US asked several European countries to force a plane carrying Evo Morales (then president of Bolivia) to land in Austria, so that they could apprehend Edward Snowden. They closed their airspace and forced the plane to land in Austria. It was searched but Edward Snowden was not on board. There is nothing “unprecedented” about this. Western countries have been doing same for years. In 2010 the U.S. wanted to arrest a man who was on a flight from France to Mexico. On U.S. instigation the plane was diverted to Canada where the man was arrested and later transferred to the U.S. Read: https://www.moonofalabama.org/2021/05/lukashenkos-revenge-served-cold.html#more 2 Likes |

IBvoss: The MSM hold on many Nigerians is huge problem. It makes the west look so benevolent. But that’s often no the case. I wish many Nigerians could form a habit of reading alt-media, there you read the behind stories and the real story.... not CNN, BBC, ABC, MSN nonsense!
