xaggar:I'm not saying he's right by slapping her, perhaps the reason why he tendered a public apology. But remember we're all humans, even GOD himself get's angry at some point in the scriptures. My anger is the multiple backlash from the ordinary citizen that he's representing. |

nnamdico82: nnamdico82: Who is this madman? They're saying that the man acted irresponsibly and you're quoting every sane comment and saying trash. Did they support the torture of the girl because I don't understand you? What if that man slaps someone and the other person stab him to death or smash his head with an object? People who attend his programme honour him, if they don't honour his invitation, there is nothing he could do to them. Nigeria constitution doesn't allow him to assault anyone physically. eniteden: Who is rearing these animals for God's sake? SoftP: How does that justify breaking the law? It's not his duty to judge or slap. What does slapping the suspects achieve? He should stop the physical assaults and abuses of his guests. Simple may ur judgement be justified Emotional trash. Who made him a judge? Is that part of his programme? 1 Like |

NBC, should it not be the Brekete Family Show that should be suspended? Not shutting down the station . We are complaining of poor economy joblessness in Nigeria. Such an action can put many out of work. This should be reviewed. The incident happened on Brekete. The station in no way suports the actions. Their decission should be reviewed. |

maasoap: Typical of the insular Nigerian. Always obsessing over semantics in futility while living in deluded denial of reality like your leaders and their peurile games with adjectives. Anyway, tell your objections to your leaders, lawmakers and faulty system which you'd aided and are still mollycoddling. One that covertly and overtly prioritised cattle over human lives. And where is that done if not the dairy farm. Your Stockholm syndrome is so ripe that your minds are walking bags of every cognitive dissonance known to man. Are you keeping count of the bodies dropping daily, while playing your #Let's_Nitpick_&_get_feisty_like_sissy_B!tches games? Why are they dead and dying more by the day?! Is it not because of preventable lapses in your system?! Those don't move you but my fitting appellation capturing the modern day ultra-dystopian Orwell's Animal Farm y'all are creating is the reason your anal hemmoroids are grossing you out?!! Get some perspective homes because I don't give a flipping frack about your opinion. |

Nbotee: Trash! trash!! Emotional trash!!! Didn't Nigerians react when those incidents happened? Did ordinary Nigerians who were angry about those incidents responsible for the walking free of the suspects? And this Ahmed, is he not going to walk free too at the end? Or, you think one month suspension by the NBC and the fine is the right punishment for the assaults? You even believed that the suspension and fine is nothing but persecution. People like you are hypocrites and double standard. Don't we see how they treat criminals, suspects and accused abroad? 1 Like |

edoairways:is the code of conduct chairman d subject under discussion? And am I d one been discussed for u to ask if am perfect? So because Buhari is a failure as a president therefore every other incoming president should be a failure? So because bokoharam attacked citizens during Jonathan's tenure therefore it is a yardstick for Buhari to allow it during its tenure without doing anything about it? And point of correction, demanding for true leadership and procedures for achieving results does not make one to be judgemental. How can Nigerians be demanding for end SARs due to police brutality, harassment and oppression in order for them to adopt new process for achieving results and the same people re supporting achieving good result using a wrong process. Bunch of hypocritical fellows. I still reiterate, what d guy did was absolutely wrong no matter what that woman committed. The woman committed a crime which everyone condemn. What gave ordinary president d right to assault d woman? If that woman does not have d right to assault that child so also does ordinary president. Let's call a spade a spade and stop pretending about the obvious...do u think in a sane country ordinary president would still be walking free in d society irrespective of d justice he has been fighting for? So far I have seen two videos of him assaulting different individuals in live broadcast how much more the ones that were not broadcasted. Oga park for one side 2 Likes 2 Shares |

I pitied the kind of reasoning we have in this country, even those with little or no knowledge of hembelembe/brekete program will still comment. It will be a thing of a curse to me to condem a man who has helped the poor against the rich for justice, a man who has helped thousands of people he didn't even know, for just an act of unconscious emotion. He slapped, yes, which is wrong, he has apologized, even shed tears while doing so, his friends has called in on many of his phoning program, apologized on his behalf, he has even contracted an emotional intelligence expert to help him and his staffs yet in your eyes he doesn't deserve forgiveness?. The said child that caused the slapping incidence is being taking care of in the hospital by this man, over four surgeries has been carried out on this child, all expenses are taken care of by this same man. Only today alone, he gave out 1mil to a woman of over 80years, who is being owe pension and gratuity by govt since her retirement. I have seen this give out food items to people just because people mentioned them and their pathetic situations to him. I know so many good deeds he has done for the common people in our society, that even the govt gave him the opportunity of raising lists of poor Nigerians that needed assistance, if he wasn't doing well I don't think he would be given such power. Yesterday, he was given an award by a parasatal under the ministry of youth because of his efforts towards youths development and empowerments. There are so many good things to write about this man but because you are hypocritical, those condemning him decided to focus on his bad rather than the good. I am not surprise though, because those rich he has fought in his cause of securing justice for the voiceless will surely fight him and this is it now. Ordinary president has really helped thousands of Nigerians and foreigners alike and should not be punished for a single mistake. Law is law oo but a law that doesn't have a human face is rubbish. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Hey you.. Stop talking nonsense. Are there no educated people here that can read through the lines? Nobody can justify the evil deeds of that woman. No one can also justify the Ordinary President's misdeeds. But the point of departure here is that a lot of people barking towards the Ordinary President don't seem to have the perfect picture of what is evolving. Let's keep yesterday's video aside. That was an old show digged by Sahara Reporters (whose CEO, Sowore is mischievously anti-Berekete Family). The whole thing lies in media and political gang up against Berekete Family. The Media gang up is championed by BBC (whose image is tainted black in the UK) for the sole reason of competing with Bereke Family on two major grounds: 1. Media Popularity. 2. British Neocolonialism. Knowing fully well that Berekete Family has a wide coverage and dominant influence on the media space in Nigeria, BBC is looking for every means possible to bring Berekete Family (plus other local media) down so as to gain dominance. Now ask yourself, why is BBC fighting for popularity in Nigeria? You must not be a graduate to know that British was Nigeria's colonial master. Sadly, even after granting Nigeria "flag" independence in 1960, Nigeria is still under the spell of British and external rule. So in order to continue ruling Nigeria indirectly (neocolonialism), BBC must dominate the media space of Nigeria and continue to misform Nigerians with inconsistent and unreliable information. This is so easy because BBC already knows the level of illiteracy in Nigeria. BBC already knows that even the so-called graduates in Nigeria are half-baked. So its so easy to deceive as many Nigerians with any information. To this end, different strategies have been employed by BBC. Recalled that BBC had to copy Bereke Family's media tune by coming up with "BBC Pidgin" in order to target as many "ordinary" (or potentially gullible) audience as possible. Although there are other local media channels that are also gagging up against Bereke Family, but since BBC is the sponsor of the "slap" viral video, I limit my "media" explanation on it. Now on the second factor, you already know what Berekete Family stands for: "Justice for the common man". This is not what our misleaders want to hear. This is not what any evil perpetrator wants to hear. But remarkably, Berekete Family has exposed as many injustice and corrupt acts of our misleaders that makes it one of the major targets of political witch-hunt. Whether you like it or not, it was not BBC or Sahara Reporters' viral video that informed NBC sanctioned. Except you're going so low. Wake up! But as someone that's more exposed, sophisticated and educated with Nigeria's consistent socioeconomic and political decay, I must be frank to tell you that it is the political class that sanctioned Berekete Family through proxy. Take it or leave it! This is just my 2 cent to help those with myopic and ill-informed perspective have a better understanding on what's going on, shaping your minds for critical reasoning. Thanks. 2 Likes |

SoftP:it's very difficult to argue with a local person. Imagine I now have to be explaining again why a working legal system is better than an animal farm. What you have said doesn't even correlate with my comment. The abroad we run to is organised. Allow the people in charge of that to kill the person. Not a mob. People went to school to study law. Allow the society work for humans not barbarians 1 Like 1 Share |
