I do not agree with Buhari in many areas, but you all need to relax. This is security, and the truth is that it's his security also. So you expect him to put a tribe he doesnt trust. That is him. It is his nature. You can crucify him for other appointments, but not the security of himself and of the country. So, he should pick someone he doesnt trust and they assassinate him in a short period of time cos he wants to unite Nigeria. grin Right? A beg. Let him show nepotism in this area - it is allowed. It is why there is no clearance from anyone for him to choose who he wants as service chiefs. Even any agency will scrutinize, they have no power to block him from appointing who he wants. We are talking about security. He must appoint who he trusts. Let them all be from Daura (his home town), it is his style and we gat no choice but to wish him well.

We can complain about other appointments, but security service chiefs - Chiefs of Army, Navy, Airforce, and the big boss - defence, we cannot. Afterall, Omisakin (yoruba) was the last big boss. He was Burutai's (chief of army) boss. That Burutai wicked, no be small.. sad For sure nepotism is in his blood, but let us not complain about security chiefs. He can pick whoever he wants.

Our mind on 30th and 31st. After we finish remembering our Biafran heroes then we could have time for a dead wood like Buhari.

Ndigbo knew how much hatred he harbours in his heart against us, the reason we rejected his sorry behind severally during election. Even when he picked our son as his vice, we said HELL NO.

As in ehn....even if Buhari himself comes out to acknowledge his faults, a Yoruba Muslim will still say it's a lie that he has done nothing wrong. Real slave mentality

Igbos are not begging for any appointment under this present Junta. This lifeless regime has already gone down as the worst in history of mankind so it is better he doesn't appoint any Igbo man to be part of his failures.
Kperogi goofed this time. Even if Buhari appoints General Ahanotu, the gesture won't be appreciated, not least in kanuland. In any case, Gen. Farouk's cv eminently recommends him for the position. Btw, pmb given his unmatched experience with coups cannot be realistically expected to appointment somebody whose 100% loyalty and trust isn't guaranteed.
May God continue to bless our dear native land of Nigeria and decimate her detractors.

Who would appoint a Igbo man to head Army?

Even Ojukwu chose Victor Banjo, a Yoruba man to lead the Biafran Army.

Zik, Ojukwu and Kanu all ran away in female dresses after chestbeating.

Why should Buhari appoint Ahanotu?

The fact he even went to learn Hausa shows he's an asslicker ashamed of his own heritage

Ever seen a Hausa or Yoruba man struggling or even bothering to learn their language?

Making an Igbo man COAS wouldn't have achieved unity because the northerners would have made life a living hell for him

I think you are the one that surrounded urself with so much negative energy, likewise Buhari which has reflected in his appointments.

considering the polarisation of the Nation's unity, especially now, Buhari could have this golden opportunity used it to bring about National cohesion and balance. A whole lot of Igbo people still believe in one Nigeria but unfortunately Buhari keep making them fools in the presence of Nnamdi Kanu. ever wondered why Nnamdi Kanu's followers increased as Buhari took over?

Buhari's action and inaction towards the Igbo people starting from his 97/5% statement.

let me see how he will quell the agitation for Biafra in the south East.

Can u highlight us the names of those u just mentioned ??

We can all see the sentiment, contradictions and ignorance of the writer, an igbo man is already the head of the military, we should also give the head of the army to an igbo man, how will diversity and national unity work?

There are many tribes in Nigeria whose natives have never been in any significant position in Nigeria, why didn't he fight for them?

Ignorance is really a disease
