Things will keep getting worse nd worse as long as these fulani pple are calling the shots in the govt.

There will never be any improvement. We won't b surprised if by 2023, a dollar will be going for 1000 naira. Always expect the worst with this govt, and I'm not even joking.

You can do better than this.
1. This is off-season. It has been off season for about 9 months now, stores are running dry. New yams are expected by this month end.
2. Southerners are lazy ass motherfvckers when it has to do with farming, most especially crops.
3. North is witnessing insecurity and a lots of displacement of farmers and their families.
4. And there is general increase in prices of goods and services, that includes yams.
5. Effects of ban on importation of agricultural produce can't be ruled out.

A southerner takes over today, don't get your hope too high unless there's a significant shift in economic policy which I really doubt

well food prices are up worldwide in which Nigeria is not in exception. The global pandemic of the covid19 is at fault, shipping rates has increased, businesses are down, there is no country that is spared from the covid recession and Nigeria happens to be one of the countries. When shipping rates goes up , then food prices go up especially when Nigeria import food . The weakening of the Naira over the past 2 years does not help either. Those who are in the trading business know how weak the Naira can be. So it is better to hold pounds, dollars and other strong currencies as saving instead of Naira.

What can be done? free trade amongst African countries where goods and products reduce food inflation.
Boost up local food production in a industrial scale- meaning we need more farmers and more security for farmers.

Election 2023 will decide a lot for the future for Nigeria and that is if Nigeria Does not break up

A Food is supposed to be cheap, edible and affordable to all. Food is necessary for man's survival without which would affect our overall wellness. The basic food crops which includes yams, rice beans etc should be accessible to each and every person regardless of status, regions and geography. It is to my very own understanding that, Nigerians are enduring hardship,an unnecessary high standard of living and poverty. We have to create or profound solution by coming together and speaking up.

Una go still buy petrol for #385 Naira... Nigerians are used to hardship, no be today.

And some mumu will still be saying “don’t encourage people who have the mean not to japa” but make them invest in this shithole.

Japa if that's your goal, people leave everyday, advice or not. Just make sure you are not scammed. And if scammed eventually, don't come back here to wail to "some mumu".

Yes, Buhari is at war with Nigerians, but he won't win this war. We defeated Abacha who was Lucifer's first son, , definitely we will defeat the cousin.

I read something here last week. This is the statement. What if Nigeria is being currently used as experimental specimen to determine the extent or level at which humans can endure hardship and hunger? Probably a research work by some big wigs in the international scene.

One thing I know about Nigerians is that we suffer from collective amnesia and forgets easily.

Watch them vote and recycle the same old looters with the hope that it will be better next time.
This is the most painful part of it, despite all the past experiences they will still vote in expired and outdated candidates. Atiku and tinubu

They will still feel the pain

The thing isn't funny again. Everything is increasing in price.
My fear is when the wasteful governors finally succeed in eliminating subsidy and transport cost skyrockets. That will affect so many other things.

Mark my words,if petrol price gets to 300 naira, there will be riots everywhere. Even the end SARS problem might be seen as a charade.

Enjoy the change you asked for. grin

It's time to shut up and grow up with these so called change you asked for. If GEJ was not so terrible, would Buhari who had failed serially stand a chance? At a time to collectively look for solutions and literal miracles, folks like you come up with change you asked for. Even GEJ has moved on and is working for and with the same Buhari. They are all the same failure and curse of leadership, wake up.

Come to think of it that the Oba of Lagos talked nonsense as regards the Igbos and also yorubas fought us for coming out to vote our choice baffles me. You now see the same people who surported buhari begging on the streets and expecting you to help them. Your buhari is very busy focused on making sure his brothers captures states of the south west and enslave them while the economy suffer. Nonsense.
